"Hey girlie!" Abby greeted and Vanessa waved and said the same.

"You ok?" Van asked, concern etched onto her face.

"Yeah, yeah! Totally fine." I said and waved off their question.

I should get a mother fucking golden globe. Or an Oscar.

It's been 5 days since Carter had barged into my house and thought I had been worried that Katherine had been replacing me in the little group.

At first the thought had crossed my mind until she opened her mouth and was a complete and utter bitch.

Every time I see them holding hands and kissing and being all over each other my heart breaks, no, it fucking explodes and I feel like crawling in a hole and crying until I can't see.

I would throw on a strong face, the face I always put on, some people might say to tell him, or to just let it all out.

But, if I did I would feel weak, and if I told him I know he wouldn't feel the same way, it would ruin our friendship.

I'm stuck with just holding in everything, suffocating in my own sorrow.

"Ugh! I thought this day would never come!" Abby said and flung herself onto my bed.

"Yeah, it's officially spring break!" Vanessa agreed and sat down on my bed.

"What do you guys want to do?" I asked from my bathroom.

I had taken off all my make up and pulled down my wavy hair that had been in a bun all day.

"Well I've, we've, wanted to asked you something." Vanessa said.

"What?" I said leaning against my door frame.

"Can you like, preform a song, please?" Abby finished for her.

I laughed at their obvious nervousness.

"Of course, what do you want me to sing?" I asked and took a seat at my piano.

"Birdy." They said at the same time and I smiled.

I placed my fingers on the correct keys and started to play.

I sang the lyrics smoothly with my fingers gliding across the keys.

"That was amazing!" Vanessa squealed after a moment of silence.

"You sound better live and I didn't even know that sounding better was even possible but..... it is." Abby added.

"Thanks guys." I told them while laughing at their reactions.

"Yeah, oh! And we wanted to invite you to go on a beach trip with us! My uncle is lending me his beach house. It's somewhere in Malibu." Vanessa said.

"Oh, really?" I asked.

"Yeah! It's super cool. But, uh...." Vanessa trailed off.

"Carter and the whore are coming." Abby finished.

I thought for a moment, my excitement slightly shaken, but this sounded super awesome and it might prove to them I'm totally fine.

Which I was not, but it might convince someone.

"Oh, that's fine. Just hold me back so I don't kill her." I told them and they nodded.

I already told them about the gym and took them there once, they seemed pretty impressed with my strength.

"So, are you in?" Vanessa asked.

"Hell yeah!"

Hi, this chapter is a little short but the next chapter is pretty awesome.

But I gave it to you early so I guess it must be.
