"Goodnigh' y'all." Brynn murmurs, and rolls over to sleep.

"Goodnight. Sleep tight. Don't let the bed bugs bite." Mrs. Rumfallo teases.

Sadie turns off the light and crawls in the bed with Mrs. Rumfallo. The hotel room plunges into darkness.

I pull out my phone carefully, then peer over at Brynn. She's out for the night.

I quickly turn down the brightness of my phone as far as it'll go, then tap Instagram. I do a quick search to bring up Hayden Summerall. I think I remember he's Kenzie's ex...but he's not dating anyone now.

I tap to follow him, and like some of his pictures. One of his pictures has the caption, "Who wants to hang?", so I comment, "I'm free rn 😋😉". You gotta show the guy when you're interested, ya know?

I follow Annie, Jayden, Saryna, and Hayley as well.

Then, I stalk Annie LeBlanc. She's really cute and pretty. But she posts a lot of pictures with Hayden. They're just close friends, I tell myself, and ignore all the "HANNIE" comments.

Finally, I get back to the top of her profile and rewatch the combo from today. We look really good, even Annie and Hayley, who haven't taken many dance classes in their life.

I scroll through the comments.

I pause. Wait, Hayden said that? The Hayden I was admiring earlier? I scroll back up to the video. Sure enough, I'm in the back left. My heart skips a beat. Aww, I can already hear the hashtags going off #haycee

I like his comment and reply "🙃🙃😘". Then I shut off my phone and stare at the ceiling. I'm probably too excited to fall asleep now, but my mind thinks about me and Hayden until I finally fall into dreamland.
