"JOHNNY! OVER HERE!" I hear someone calling. I recognize the voice. I'd know if anywhere.

"Hey, Kenzie!" I give her a quick hug and then shake hands with Brynn.

"Johnny." I say, confirming my name.

She laughs. "I know who you are. Cuz, ya know...Jenzie..." She laughs devilishly, and Kenzie and I roll our eyes together.

"Lauren's on her way over. She went to the bathroom."

"Hey, Hannie, what's poppin'?" I call, as Annie, Hayden, and Hayley come over. "And you, of course, Hayley."

"Good!" They all chorus in unison.

I nudge Kenzie. "Hah, notice how they answer to Hannie."

"Ooooo, I see you, Hannie." Kenzie teases.

Brynn gives them all quick hugs. "Hey, I'm sorry again about Jaycee."

"No, really, it's totally fine. You had nothing to do with her, and she said she was joking anyways." Annie says quickly.

"Are you still good friends with her?" Kenzie asks.

"Uhh..." Brynn gives her a funny look. "I mean, whadayya mean?"

"Oh nothing." Kenzie coughs awkwardly.

Awkward silence followed, and I felt very compelled to jab Kenzie with my shoulder and break the silence.

"YEHAWW!!"

"Gosh, John, I hate it when you do that!" Kenzie protests, slapping me playfully.

"Bruh," Carson says as he arrives. "I could hear you all the way from the door."

"YEET!" I yell again.

"BRO stop." Hayden laughs.

Lauren enters the scene. "Oh my gosh. John, do you have to make a scene wherever you go??"

"He needs all the attention he can get." Kenzie rolls her eyes.

"Only for you, babe." I wink at her.

Kenzie breaks out in song. Gosh, her voice is so amazing.

"You just want attention, you don't want my heart."

"How do you know I don't want your heart?" I smirk at her.

Brynn cracks up. "HAHA the Jenzie feels are real."

"Ooo, look who's a poet." Carson notes.

"She barely rhymed. You just wanna compliment your girl, don't ya." Kenzie sticks out her tongue at him. "Bryson."

"Oh, puleez." Brynn rolls her eyes, earning lots of laughs.

"Guys," a waitress comes over. "Your table is ready."
