Aphrodite's POV

I was embracing my dad very tightly the sobs were still escaping my features. People on the island they call 'Metal Island' were giving us strange looks for two reason. 1 the mayor was standing right behind my back awkwardly shifting his foot to show his discomfort around us. 2 me and my dad were literally crying our eyes out comically.

So it's not a wonder as to why people were looking at them weirdly. 'I swear these people are heartless'

Today once again was the day my dad left me in safer hands. Just like my father - Hawkeyes. This man turned out to be a an old man. He took my hand as we watched my father's crew departure. The man looked down at my teared face.

"Come on little one, let's go to my home I'll introduce you to my family" he said leading me to what I thought was his house "well here we are" he said opening the door stepping in while I stepped in right after him closing the door "Honey, our guest has arrived" he shouted

"Hello, you must be Aphrodite! I am Maria Blackburn and this is my husband Gale Blackburn. Welcome to our household" she said gesturing inside the house. Maria was a blonde haired woman and her husband was also blonde "there's a second floor upstairs where your room is"

"Thank you, I hope I won't be any trouble for you" I said while bowing the two giggling at my cuteness

"I've always wanted a daughter"Maria gushed to her husband cheerfully

"Why? It's not just the two of you?" I asked

The atmosphere seemed a little sad "Well we did, but.. he's not around anymore" Gale replied rather sadly and frustratingly

Putting a hand on her husband's shoulder, Maria continued for him "He's a pirate now. Today when I heard from my husband a Yonkou's ship was being docked in our island today, but once I saw it was not the Yonkou I was hoping for" she said rather sadly

"I'm sorry" I said quietly with tears building up on my eyes

Once Maria saw the tears she rushed towards me "No that's not what I meant. It's just we really missed him" putting both her hands on my shoulders

"He's a really infamous in the pirate world. He doesn't really visit us much. Only on spare occasions" Gale said kneeling down next to Maria

"Oh, what's he like?" I asked

"He's a very handsome pirate, heard he's nice despite being a pirate though" Maria said dreamily

"He also ate a Mythical Zoan fruit, a special one though" his father stated

"He sounds amazing.."I said in awe which made the two smile at my cuteness until "I WANNA FIGHT HIM!"I shouted this resulted in the two almost having a heart attack and falling onto the floor backwards simultaneously

I noticed them and sweat dropped "Well you are quite the enthusiastic are you?" he said being the first to snap out of his almost death state "If you are willing to fight I have the perfect place for you to go" he said
