Me and Finn had made the "amazing" decision to go to the beach today. I'm okay with the pool but beaches are the worst.
Everybody is sweaty, wet, and i 100% believe there are sharks, no matter how many how many lifeguards tell me there isn't.
But Finn really wanted to go for some reason. I said no at first but Finn gave the pouty lip so i had no choice.

I went to the bathroom and changed into my bathing suit which had a beige top with ruffles and high waisted bottoms

"Wow, you look beautiful y/n" Finn said sliding his arms around my waist, i could feel the blush forming and hid my face his chest.
"Where's your bathing suit?" I asked
"In the car, now put clothes over that and lets get going" he jumped up like a little kid and ran towards the car, i giggled at his excitement and put on my PATD! tee and some ripped shorts with my converse and headed towards the car.
Time Skip
I took off my clothes as Finn opened the umbrella and rested down the ice bucket in the sand.
"It looks so beautiful" Finn said
"I know right, the water can be amazing sometimes" i said admiring the water
"I wasn't talking about the water" he mumbled shaking his arms around my waist and planting a kiss on my cheek. I rolled my eyes playfully and sat on the beach chair
"Uh, what do you think you're doing?" Finn asked with a raised eyebrow
"Getting a tan?"
"No no no no, we're going swimming"
"Uh no, that water is below the average cold, I'm not going in there" i said, big mistake. Finn picked me up and sped walked towards the water, ignoring my screams
"Finn i swear to-" my sentence was cut off by the large wave of salt water coming over the both of us, causing me and Finn to both fall.
"Ugh! You asshole" i groaned, standing up
"Oh come on it's not even that bad" he said with a laugh, i gave him a glare before pushing him into the water.
I laughed when he came up, coughing out water. My laughing was out on pause when Finn started running towards me. I screamed/giggled and starting running fast, well that depends on how fast you can run in water.
And apparently i ran a little too fast because next thing i know, I'm on the deep end of the water. I didn't realize until the smallest wave knocked me down and suddenly my feet couldn't reach the ground.
Anxiety started to set in as my feet started kicking around. My heart started to race as more and more waves started coming in and the more and more they came in, the harder and harder it was to stay above the water.
It wasn't until a large wave came over me that my head was completely submerged underwater. I couldn't kick upward cause i couldn't reach the floor, i couldn't try and swim up cause my arms felt numb and eyes felt heavy and chest started to burn and then hands around me. Hands? Hands around me, oh my god they're hands around me.
I gasped and coughed as i finally felt the fresh air again. I laid down on the sand and looked up at my savior, Finn. My chest rose up and down as i tried to catch my breath.
"Ho...ly...shit" i gasped sitting up
"Yeah 'holy shit', are you okay?" Finn said wrapping a towel around me and walking me back to our spot
"I-I'm fine i think i almost died" i said breathlessly
"Uh...okay, you wanna leave?" Finn asked with worried eyes
"What? No no, you-you came here to have fun and i don't my accident to ruin that"
"Babe...nothing you can do will ruin my day. I love you y/n, okay?" He said softly, holding my head in his hands
"I love you too, Finn" i smiled, Finn pulled me into a kiss and i laid my head on his shoulder
"C'mon lets go get some ice cream"
Thank god i didn't drown or else i wouldn't be to eat y/f.ic/f ice cream, oh yeah and Finn too. ;)
