It was now Christmas time. This is the time of year when people are in a happy spirit and joyful. At least most of them.

"Watch out, Mud-blood," Parkinson cleared me from my thoughts. I was walking down to the Great Hall for dinner. Hermione, Ron, and Harry were already there.

I was slightly late for one reason...Draco. We had gone to the library for some research, and had lost track of time. Draco and I have become friends. Nothing more or less. Just friends.

I rolled my eyes at her comment, and walked into the Great Hall. I saw Hermione and the boys sitting at the table.

I walked up at sat besides Hermione. "Everything is set," Hermione told us. "We just need a bit of who you're going to change into."

"Crabbe and Goyle," Harry states plainly.

"And Parkinson," I added.

"Now we just have to make sure the real ones don't ruin our interrogation," she stated.

"And how are we supposed to do that?" Ron asked.

Hermione took out two cupcake like desserts, "I filled these with a simple Sleeping Draught. Simple but powerful. Once they're asleep, put them in be broom cupboard and pull out some hairs."

"What about mine?" I asked.

"I've already figured that out," and with that she handed me a letter.

The letter looked exactly like Draco's hand writing. Pansy, I wanted to talk to you about us in privet. Meet me in the Library at 9:00 PM.
Draco

"How'd you manage this Hermione?" I asked.

"Pretty simple. I sit next to Draco in History of Magic. I've seen him take notes, and it's easy to copy," she told me.

"You're a genius," I told her, smiling. "But how am I supposed to get one of her hairs?"

"Trip her on accident, then try to help her up. Of course, she'll refuse. So while she tries to get up, go behind her and steal a hair from her robe."

"Brilliant!" I nearly shouted.

"Yeah," Ron nodded, "but Bridge, where were you?"

"Just in the library," I told them.

"With Malfoy," Hermione smirked.

"What?!" Ron nearly screamed.

"We were doing research and I figured he'd be able to help," I said in defense.

"Well, you should be careful with him. He could be using you," Ron stuffed his face with his food.

I shrugged, "Oh well. I'm going to go and 'accidentally' run into someone. Byes!" And with that, I got up.

"Meet us in the bathroom!" Hermione told me.

I nodded. I walked out the doors and started to head down the corridor.

Making sure I still had the letter, I turned the corner. I saw Pugface and Draco talking. Perfect timing! I walked by and heard my name called, "Hey! Meadows!"

I turned and saw a smirking Pansy. We was walking towards me. I glared, "What do you want?"

"Just want to say, hope you don't think about getting away with being with Draco," she told me.

I saw Draco wasn't there anymore. Oh great. He left me alone with this psycho...

"I know that you like him, and I'm telling you now-he would never like a mudblood like you!" She practically spat in my face.
