Caught...Again

"And you're sure you saw him?" Hermione asked as we raced up the stairs.

"I'm sure," Harry was farther ahead than we are.

"Harry, what if Voldemort is trying to get you there?" I asked. "What if this is a trap? I don't have a good feeling about going there."

"It's not," Harry argued. We got up three flights before we stopped. Harry went rambling on about the door and department of Mysteries.

"Harry," Hermione stooped him, "what if Bridge is right? She's been right for...how long now...four years? Almost five?"

"He could be trying to get into your head," I told him. "You stopped your sessions with Snape and all of a sudden this happens. It doesn't surprise me if he's just trying to get to you."

"Bridget," Harry looked at me with sadness in his eyes, "Sirius is the only thing we have left. I can't risk it being a trap."

"So what do think we should do?" Ron asked.

"Floo network!" Harry thought up as he ran up the stairs.

"Umbridge has guard and watch in every fireplace," Hermione commented.

"Not all of them," I smirked.

We ran into the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom. We ran up to her office, "Alohamora," I whispered. Her door opened, as we all stepped in.

We made our way over to the fireplace. Harry threw some powder into the fireplace, "Alert the order. Try and keep things calm."

"Harry, you're not going alone," Ron seemed as shocked as Hermione and I.

"If I can't talk you out of it," I stared at Harry, "then I'm going with you. Sirius is my family too, Harry."

"And we are all going," Hermione pitched in. "Because we are in this together, whether you like it or not."

"That is correct, Ms. Granger."

We all instantly turned on our heels. Umbridge was staring directly at us. Before we knew it we were being held captive by Umbridge.

She had Harry in a chair while her Inquisitorial Squad was bringing in people from Dumbledore's Army. Neville, Ginny, Luna, and a couple others were brought in.

She hadn't trusted anyone to hold onto me, so she tied me to a chair next to the group. I thought it was a load of BS but whatever.

She began to interrogate Harry, "So were you going to Dumbledore?"

Meanwhile, I wasn't focusing on that. I was trying to get my wand, which was only a couple feet away on the floor. I had never practiced windless or wordless magic so this was brand new for me.

I heard a slap. I looked up, "Did you...just fucking slap him?!" I could feel the anger boiling up inside of me.

"Bridget," Harry shook his head. I tried to let it go and continue to get my wand. Accio wand! Accio wand!

With a swift clear movement, I was in my hands, which were behind me. Luckily, nobody noticed because Snape came into the door, "You asked for me?"

"Yes," she nodded. "I need Veritaserum. They won't willingly give me answers so I will have to take them."

Oh, you think so.

"I'm sorry," Snape was deadpan, "but you've used up the last ounces on Miss Chang." I was right once again. He rambled on while I was trying to think of some spells that cut things, more specifically rope. Then I thought up one.

"He's got Padfoot in the place where it's hidden!" I heard Harry yell out. Snape has stopped in the middle of the doorframe.

"Diffindo," I whispered to myself. It cut the rope attached to me, but I remained so still. Umbridge had been talking so she couldn't hear me. I knew Draco could with him being so close. But he did nothing to stop me.

"I haven't the slightest clue," Snape shrugged. He left with a glide. No, don't leave!

My heart was race a mile a minute as Dolores turned to Harry, "Then there is no other choice. With this being part of the Ministry, this give me no other option. The one thing I'd hate to use: the cruciatus curse."

Those words came out of her mouth and I stood up immediately, "No, you will not," I raised my wand.

Everyone gasped. Nobody stopped me. Probably because they had their hands full of other people.

She raised her wand as well, "How...How did you get up out of your chair? Did someone untie you?!"

"I did it myself," I smirked. "You underestimate me."

I watched her take a deep breath as I got closer. She casted the disarming spell, but I dodged it and it hit Crabbe instead.

"You can harm me," I nodded. "You can do whatever you wish to me. But as for my friends and family," I shook my head, "I cannot tolerate that. So you are not to touch him."

"Oh really?" She turned her head. "Why not?"

"I know what the cruciatus curse feels like. I don't want anyone to go through that, ever. Except maybe for you."

She didn't like that too much. She gasped as if I told her that her cats were annoying.

"If you do that to anyone here, you're going to do it to me."

"If that's how it'll be done," she smiled. I lowered my wand. She started and I braced myself.

"God, just tell her!" Hermione cried.

I turned to her confused, "What? What are you talking about?"

"If you aren't going to tell her where it is," Hermione seemed shaken up, "then I guess I will."

"Hermione, we have nothing to show-"

"Show me what exactly?" Umbridge quieted me.

Hermione hesitating before stating, "Where Dumbledore's secret weapon is."

I looked at her with my eyebrows furrowed. She raised her eyebrows at me. She wanted me to go along with it, "Right! I completely forgot to be honest."

"Miss Granger," She pointed, "Miss Meadows, and Mister Potter. Come with me. The rest of you, keep an eye on these hooligans. You three: show me where this so called weapon is."
