I looked up as I saw someone sit across from me at the breakfast table. The day of our first Quidditch match of the season and poor Ronald seemed as if he was going to be sick. I couldn't tell whether it was the nerves or the people shouting rude things.

"Shut it!" I called to a group of Slytherin boys. They quieted down. I smirked as I continued to eat my egg.

"So, how was your special dinner?" Ron asked.

"Awkward," I sighed.

"I agree. Also it was rather boring to me. Although, Harry seemed to enjoy the dessert," Hermione chuckled. I did too. Hermione continued through our silence, "I heard Slughorn is going to have a Christmas Party. And he expects us to bring someone. As a date."

"You going with McLaggen?" Ron asked. "Isn't he in that special thing?"

Harry and I locked eyes as Hermione continued, "I was planning on asking you."

"Oh."

A girl, Lavander, came up and tried to boost Ron's confidence. She made me want to barf. She was like a female McLaggen, but instead of arrogant she was...flirtatious.

"I can't do it," Ron sighed once she left. "After this match, McLaggen can take my spot."

"Now that's not the way to think," I turned to him. "And I'd rather much have you than that ball of arrogance."

"Just drink some juice," Harry pushed Ron's glass towards him.

"Hello guys."

I nearly jumped, "Luna. Hi." I turned to see the blonde, but instead I saw a lion costume. I thought it was quite cute.

"You look rather terrible, Ron," Luna commented. "Is that why Harry put something in your drink?"

I turned to Harry, "What did you do?"

"Did you really put Liquid Luck in his pumpkin juice?" Hermione turned to Harry. Then she looked to Ron, "Don't you dare drink it."

"I think you should," I nodded. "It'll boost you. Then you won't be talking about McLaggen like that."

I watched as Harry put on a smile while watching Ron chug his drink. Then I smiled, He didn't actually do it. Did he?

Ron looked to all of us, "Alright. Let's go win that match!"

"That's my boy!" I smiled.

"You guys could get expelled," Hermione warned.

"Technically," I stood up with the boys, "we didn't give him anything that boosts his strength or wits. Just his confidence. So I don't think we can. See you afterwards!"

It was Gryffindor against Slytherin. I was up against Blaise. He was the best chaser on Slytherin that I heard. He smiled to me.

The Quaffle was picked up by Blaise and the green team flew fast. The Quaffle was bounced around. One Slytherin chaser nearly dropped it. I grabbed it from his hands and flew off. I could hear the sound of Bludgers flying past me.

I tricked the Keeper into thinking I was heading towards the small hoop. He went down, I threw up. Made our first few points of the year.

Ron was doing really well from what I had seen. Very proud of himself. Very confident. But not too boastful. I smiled as we continued with the match.

Ron threw it back to me. Katie and Ginny were by my side. "Stretch!" I called out. They did our move. Ginny went to the left while Katie went in front. I was happy to see her doing well. I almost thought she wasn't going to be able to.
