A Little bit of Shade

Two weeks had gone by, Gabbie was finally ready to officially meet all of us. Tonight they had an award show. Jacks plus one was Gabbie. Zach said I could be his plus one, which he said meant I had to "hangout with me all night and take pictures with me"

I guess I had to go. I decided on wearing my prom dress. Me being the low key person I am, my dress was a tight, long black dress. Simple and boring just like my life. I knew if it was simple that I'd be able to wear it again.

I grabbed my rose gold, sparkly heels and my pink clutch. My hair was loosely curled and my makeup was semi- natural. I did it all myself.

I slowly walked down the stairs. All the guys were already down there.

"Holy shit" Jack says. They all turn and look at me. "Whoa" Daniel mumbles. I blush, concentrating on not falling.

"You look so good!" Zach says, taking my hand as I step down the few last stairs. "Thank you" I smile. "I've never seen you like this" Jack says. "I've never had any reason to dress up" I awkwardly laugh. "Is Christina coming?" I ask Corbyn. "No, it's her first day of her tour so she can't make it" he explains. "Oh that sucks"

We get to the limo and go to pick Gabbie up. This was my first time in a limo. Even going to prom I had my dad drop me off. I never had friends to go with.

"I really hope you guys like her" Jack plays with his earring, another thing he does when he is nervous. "Jack, she's really nice already. I'm sure everyone will like her. Stop worrying so much" I wasn't sitting near him to comfort him. I was between Zach and Jonah. We left a seat beside Jack for Gabbie.

"I forgot to tell you, Logan Paul is going to be there. He's gonna talk to us, so just be ready for a vlog camera in your face" Zach laughs. I nod. "I'll be okay"

"When we get out, we walk slowly along the carpet towards the door. Smile a lot, cameras will be pointed at you at all times. Stop and do a quick interview if you want. Make sure to keep up with the rest of the group though, we need to stick together for group photos" Jonah explains.

We arrive in front of a small house. Gabbie walks out in a short red dress. Jack gets out and opens the door for her. When she sits down, she smiles at all of us. "Hi" she shyly says.

We all talked the whole way to the venue. Gabbie was super nice and everyone seemed to like her. Well, that's what I thought.

We got out of the limo and immediately cameras flashed in our faces. People were calling the boys over from every angle. Jonah got out first, followed by Corbyn. Zach got out before me, taking my hand as I slid out. I linked my arm with his. Daniel was behind us, followed by Gabbie and Jack. "I don't like Gabbie" Zach whispers to me, not breaking his smile. I fake smile too, not looking at any cameras. Before I can say anything back, zach is called for an interview. I go to release him, but he pulls me along.

"Zach, tell me about your performance tonight" the interviewer sticks a microphone in front of him. I examine his face while he speaks. I wasn't sure what else to look at. Why hadn't I looked at him before? He's good looking, his teeth are perfect, and his smile...

"This is my date, Kylie Matthews" I'm snapped out and look over to the interviewer. I smile at her and smile at the camera. "How did you two meet?"

"Well, She's actually Jacks best friend since we moved to L.A and we all became friends. I asked her to be my date tonight" he smiles at me, I smile back. I move closer to him, hugging his arm. He called me his date, I should act like one. Clearly this will get him more publicity if it seems like we're dating.

"We've got to head in now, thank you guys" he does a small wave to the camera. We turn and start walking away, he places his hand on the small of my back, guiding me over to the other guys. Jonah leads us to our seats. We were near the front. I sit beside Zach and a few seats away from Jack and Gabbie.

"Why don't you like Gabbie? I've been dying to ask" "I just have a weird feeling, like when Jack was talking with Aspen. I had the same feeling and that didn't turn out good. She cheated on him and flirted with all of us guys" he explains. "Oh crap" I mumble. I have to drop my crush on her and back off.

The awards start, cutting mine and Zach's conversation short.

"Are we going to the after party?" Daniel asks. We all look at each other. "Do you want to?" Jack asks Gabbie. She nods. "You coming?" Zach asks. I nod too.

We take the limo to the second venue. (I don't know how it works lol) There was a bouncer standing at the front and a crowd around filled with fans and paparazzi.

"Names" the bouncer looks at his clipboard. "Zach Herron and my plus one" he lets us in. Everyone else got in shortly after. The place was filled with celebrities. "Oh my gosh! Liam Payne!" I squeal. "Want to go talk to him?" Zach asks. "Yeah! Duh!" He leads me over to him.

"Hey, Liam. I'm Zach from Why Don't We," he introduces himself. "I've heard of your band, I think it was from Ed" he shakes Zachs hand. I stare in awe as I die inside slightly. "Hello there" he sticks his hand out. I gladly shake it. "Hi I squeak.

"Want to a take a picture? I'll post it and send you both a shout out" he smiles. I died a little more. "Yeah, thanks man" Zach smiles. We get a waitress to take the picture. Liam thanks her and pays for a drink. "I have to go mingle, see you guys later" Liam walks off. I stand still in shock. I grab Zach's arm and squeeze.

"Holy shit! Holy shit!" I yell. He laughs at me. "Let's go find the guys" he intertwines our fingers and leads me through the crowd.

"Zach! Come for an interview" Corbyn calls him over. I see Gabbie standing off to the side. I go stand next to her. "Guess who I just met" I say. "Omg I met some famous people too! Who did you meet?" She asks. "I met Liam Payne!" I squeal, she squeals too. "No way!" "Yeah it was totally insane! He's gonna post a picture of us and tag me and Zach in it later!" I smile. "I met Liza Koshy and Zendaya!" She cheers. "It was insane!" We both jump around squealing. The guys kept glancing over at us, so we stopped and acted natural.

"So you're the famous Kylie?" I hear someone behind me ask. I turn around and find Logan Paul pointing a camera at me. "Um, yeah" I smile. "The guys talk about you a lot. They said I had to meet you because you were 'just that cool'" he laughs. "I'm really not" I laugh.

The guys finish the interview and come over to us. They all bro hug Logan. "We saw you dab on stage" Jonah laughs, causing Logan to laugh too. "Yeah, I had to sneak that in there"

The rest of the night was spent meeting famous people. The guys would just walk up to them and start talking, something I would never do. Then I thought. The guys are here, they're pretty famous and yet I talk to them like they're my family, which they kind of are.

This is something I'm not sure I'll get use too.

FRICKIN LIAM PAYNE WAS MY 2014 HUSBAND. And now all the guys are my 2016- now husbands lol.
