Chapter Fifty Two: She found out**'

               I was in Carter's office along with our lawyer David, Carter, Jayson and Kyle. I know it was probably awkward for Carter and Jayson to be in the same room with me, especially when Jayson had a chance to act like we were together while Carter had to act as if we weren't.

"She looked through your records." our lawyer stated. Me and Carter nodded and Jayson just sat back. "So let me ask you and Jayson a few questions. You will have to answer them the same way that you will answer them at court."  David said. We both nodded our heads.

"Where did you and your boyfriend Jayson meet?" He asked. "Through mutual friends." we both said. We looked at each other a bit shocked. "Okay, how did you start working for Jayson?"

"I applied to work where he works, but I didn't know that he worked there. I found out when they accepted me and placed me to be his assistant." I spoke. "Very good lying Mrs. Carter.."Jayson hissed. I shrugged my right shoulder. "It gets easy when you have been with one for six years."

He grunted and sat back. "Are you dating Carter?" David asked. "No." I said. "Then why are the both of you seeing hugging behind the building at prison?"

"I was hugging him because he helped me get my item back." I stated. "Alright, and why were the both of you in Texas?"

"We weren't together. He was with his children and I was with my parents." I said. "Why did you answer his phone then?" he asked. "My sister is the one who answered my phone. Sharon thinks any woman that is around me is Beyoncé." Carter told him.

I chuckled a bit at his lie.

"Little Kyle have you seen Beyoncé and your dad do more than just talk?" Dangled asked. I bit my bottom lip knowing that he has.

"No, I haven't. She is only around when their doing work." Kyle said sounding intellectual. Me and Carter looked at him and he winked at me. I chuckled.

"Say that in court and it's sure that you will win that part." He said. "Wait, what do you mean about that part?" I asked.

"Beyoncé, you will be off the hook if you win this part but on the next court date Mr. Carter is going to try to get custody for his children and Sharon is going to tell them about his financial problems." David said.

"Financial problems?" I asked looking at Carter. David got up. "I'll leave the four of you to it. I will be there on your court date." He said. "Good Bye, and thank you for everything." I told him. He  nodded. "I will see you at the trial." David said and left.

Kyle snuggled on my shoulder when he was gone and Jayson stood up ready to leave. "I'll see you at court okay?" he said. I nodded. He hugged me and kissed my cheek.

He probably did that just to set Carter off. But Carter didn't even budge.

Jayson left and I got up about to go back to my office. "Beyoncé...."Kyle's sweet voice said holding my hand. I glanced at him. "Yes Ky?"

"Can I come to your office with you?" he asked. "If that's okay with your father then yes." I said. We both looked at Carter and he signaled us with his hand to leave.

"Kyle go on to my room okay? It's the one with my name on it. You can read right?" I asked him. He nodded and took off.

When he left I closed the office door and looked at Carter. "What's wrong?" I asked. He sighed. "Nothing. I just can't wait for this whole thing to be over.."
