The Deal

Days had passed by since Callum's death, Ryan has messaged me a few times letting me know they have arranged his funeral for next week.

Lily has been messaging me none stop and sending me pictures of what she has bought my baby. I love her.

She has no idea what happened a few days ago, I didn't want to ruin her holiday. One of us deserves to be happy, but she will be back in time for us to say our final goodbyes to Callum.

I didn't really want to see anyone, the only people I had a conversation with was my dad, Uncle, and Ryan. West tried to come one day but I couldn't face him right now, not yet.

I was currently sat on my windowsill watching some children play in their garden giggling away without a care in the world. My thoughts went straight to Callum.

Flashback

After being stuck in my house all day with nothing to do, Lily was on a date once again. I swear she has had more girlfriends than most boys combined in our school.

Callum didn't want to see me mope around any longer.

"Right get your lazy but up, I am taking you to the cinema and then I will treat you to dinner. A salad isn't expensive right?"

I elbowed him lightly in his side containing my laughter. "Oh come on that was funny"

He nudged my side pouting a little.

"That was not funny"

"But it was"  He replied "You don't count. Someone once told me you started laughing in the middle of a funeral because you started thinking of a meme you saw on facebook" I pointed out.

He started to scratch the back of his neck as we approached his car.

"I didn't know you knew that" He spoke nervously followed my a forced cough. I smiled slyly at him.

"Oh, I know everything reed" Shooting a wink his way a light blush formed onto his cheeks.

I started to giggle before sitting in his car. He slumped into his seat starting his car and speeding off down the road towards the cinema. Callum wouldn't speak to me so I just prodded his cheek from time to time whilst he just huffed and puffed. He finally pulled up but still wouldn't look at me.

I took off my seat belt and lent over giving him a kiss on his cheek. "Come on you big baby, you promised me a cinema date with food. No pullouts.

I saw him crack a little grin before speeding out of the car and towards the entrance, me running after him. "So what film would you like to see freckles, there's a romantic movie to put you in the mood" he wiggled his eyebrows so I shoved him slightly making him chuckle under his breath.

"Or there is a horror, but don't worry if you get too scared I'll protect you" Then he kissed his large bicep, I let out a little snort at his silliness.

"Let's watch a horror, but don't worry I'll protect you" I mimicked him. He stepped right in front of me so our bodies were touching. His eyes gazed down into mine.

"I look forward to it" he whispered then gave my nose a little peck before walking off.

I just stood there, a bright blush forming onto my cheeks. The same shade as my red lips.

Flashback over.

Someone saying my name snapped me out of my thoughts, and there stood West leaning against my door frame with a neutral look on his face.
