Chapter 9

Gupta House ~~

It was a dark and beautiful night, with the sky full of stars and the moon also was in its full shape tonight.
Khushi, after having her dinner was sitting outside her house on a bench along with Payal, they both were admiring the sky with a beautiful smile adorned on both their faces. Payal said, let's go inside Khushi, it's late already, Khushi looked at her jiji and replied, jiji you go ahead, I'll stay for some minutes more, Payal nodded and replied, don't stay up too late alright, Khushi nodded and smiled. Payal went inside the house wishing a good night to Khushi, to which Khushi replied back too.
She was looking at the stars, she saw two bright stars twinkling the brightest and smiled looking at it.
She started talking to the two stars, 'Amma, 'Babuji', how are you both ?? I'm doing fine too, and along with me amma, babuji, Buaji and jiji are doing fine too, she smiled remembering her sweet little family. They all really love me alot, I'm so grateful to have them in my life, she smiled.

Raizada House ~~

Arnav after taking a shower, was standing outside his room near the pool. He looked up at the sky and said, mom, dad how are you ?? Everything's fine out here, yeah I know, di and me, we had an argument earlier, but it's nothing we can't sort out, so don't worry, he smiled remembering his sweet sister. Everyone's doing fine out here. He smiled saying that.

Both Khushi and Arnav closed their eyes, and whispered, 'I Miss You' . Just when they said it out together, they both felt a gentle breeze on their faces, they both had tears on their faces.

Arnav moved back to his room, and went to sleep, thinking and dreaming about the orange saree girl.

Khushi opened her eyes, wiped her tears and was just sitting, suddenly she felt as if some one was watching her, she felt very uncomfortable and quickly ran inside the house, when she was about to shut the door she saw someone, it was a guy, she couldn't figure it out who it was, but she felt really scared so she quickly shut the door and went inside.

Raizada House~~

The next morning, Arnav woke up took shower, got ready in his three piece suit and went down to have his breakfast, he sat down bit only saw his Nani in the dining table. So, he simply asked, Nani where is di ??
To which his Nani replied saying, bhool gaye ho kaa ?? Kaal raat Anjali bitiya aapse kaa kahat rahe ?? Woh yahi karat ke baithi hai, woh ne kaal raat se kuccho nahi khaya hai.( Have you forgotten ?? What anjali bitiya told you ?? That's what she's been doing, she didn't had anything since last night ).
Arnav was shocked, what ????
That was all he could say. Nani you should have told me,
What should I tell you, you both are stubborn, so none of you will listen to me.
Arnav muttered an 'unbelievable' and went straight to his di 's room.

Manorama who was standing outside Anjali 's room, saw Arnav coming up, she quickly went inside and told Anjali to start up her act.
The three ladies were all together in this drama 😁😁.(Poor Arnav).
Arnav quickly came inside, more like dashed inside his di's room, and sat down on the bed, when he saw his di with a pout on her bed.

Di, Arnav called out, Anjali turned her head ignoring her Chhote. Di please, come down and have your breakfast, Nani told me that you didn't even had your dinner last night, please di, I know your angry with me, but please apna gussa khaane par mat nikalo( please don't take out your anger on the food ) .
Anjali just ignored him and moved up trying to walk, when she felt dizzy and was about to fall, but Arnav was quick enough to catch his sister before she could fall.
Careful di, he muttered, Anjali glared at him and said, you don't even want to listen to me then why are you acting as if you care ??
Even if I die without having any morsel of food into my mouth, you won't care, so just leave me chhote.

Arnav got angry hearing 'death' from his di's mouth, I care for you di dammit, he huffed and said alright if you will start eating again if I say ok to your wish then, ok fine I'm ready di.Im ready to marry the girl you chose for me.

Anjali's eyes popped out, and she was smiling widely, really chhote, you will marry ??

To which Arnav just said, yeah di I don't have any other choice anyway.

Anjali jumped and hugged Arnav, thank you thank you so much chhote, I can't tell you how happy I am.

Arnav just smiled and said anything for you di, but please from next time don't talk about death again, you know I only have you.

Anjali cupped his face and said, I'm sorry chhote I'll never say that again, I promise, and then they hugged each other.

Ok now let's go di, I'm getting late and I'm hungry too.Anjali smiled and nodded.
Mami just muttered, hello hi bye bye phat an acting.

After finishing their breakfast, Arnav was going to his room, when Anjali said, chhote we're going to the girl's place tomorrow with shagun okay ??
He simply muttered, whatever di, I'm not gonna come anyway.
Anjali was about to retort, but Arnav cut her off by saying, di I said yes to marry so please don't force me on coming with you to the girl's place tomorrow. I'm not gonna come. He just went away after saying that.

Yeh chhote bhi naa, Anjali just said, but she was very happy and was busy in making plans for tomorrow with Nani and Mami.

Arnav was inside his room, standing near the recliner, he thought about the orange saree girl, he clenched his fist and said, no girl can invade ASR's mind, not even that girl. I'm gonna get married to di's choice so I'll forget about her, yes I'll do that. So assuring himself to forget that girl, he took his laptop bag and his coat and moved out for his work.
