I walked into my room pissed and disappointed, today was just a really bad day. I got up late which never ever happens, I failed my test and my best friend and I had an argument.

I was on my phone procrastinating doing my work because I just wasn't in the mood. "y/n" my mom said "yes" she opened the door "hi" she said "hey" I said "have you met the new neighbors yet?" "no, we have new neighbors?" "yes, we invited them over for dinner, they're gonna be over soon" she closed the door and I sighed "great".

I got ready and went downstairs, I sat on the couch as my parents made dinner "are they just little kids?" "No Anna, she's 17 and her brother Daniel, he's 19" "oh" I said interested.

About fifteen minutes later the doorbell rang, dad went to get it "hey guys come in!" he said, they walked in and I saw Daniel "oh my god" I said under my breath, he said hi to my parents and looked at me, he smiled "hi" he said "hi, y/n" "Daniel" he said and walked away. I said hello to Anna and immediately became friends, we sat next to each other and talked the whole time.

I got up and went to the bathroom, I walked out and ran into Daniel "oh sorry" "it's fine" he said smiling, I chuckled "what?" I said "you're cute" he said, I laughed "thanks?" "You know I wasn't gonna come but I guess it was a good idea" I smiled, he leaned closer and kissed my cheek.

"Stop" I said chuckling "sorry" "no it's just...they're gonna see" he looked back and back at me, he took my hand and we walked into another room, he put his arm around my waist "Can I?" he asked smiling "yes" I said smiling too, he leaned closer and kissed me, I kissed him back and touched his neck.

We both pulled back and smiled "y/n! Where are you?!" my mom yelled, he let me go and I walked out "sorry I was in the bathroom" I said "where's Daniel?" "uhm idk" I sat down at the table. Daniel joined a few minutes later, he sat down next to me.

He touched my leg, I looked down and put my hand over his, he smiled and rubbed my hand. We stayed like that the whole time "ok well we have to go, it was great thank you" Kerie said, I looked at him, he looked up and smiled. He took my phone out of my pocket and put his number in, we both stood up "gotta put a lock on your phone sweetheart" he whispered and I chuckled.

6 months later

"Happy Birthday Love" I woke up and saw Daniel with his arms wrapped around me, I smiled and hugged him. I rolled on top of him and kissed him "you're an adult now, you're old" "shut up you're the old one here" we both chuckled.

I got up and got ready, he walked over and wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my shoulder and neck, I smiled "you're cute an all but I need to get ready" I said chuckling. He laughed and walked downstairs, I finished getting ready, I walked down and saw everybody downstairs singing happy birthday.

I laughed and walked over to Daniel, I hugged him tight "thank you" "everything for you love" I smiled and kissed him.
