Lunch. One of the most important meals od the day. It has to be. Because what else is going to get you through the day? Nothing. Lunch is literally the only thing that you have to look forward to.

But today was not that day. Today Nicole was with Scarlett and her sister Vanessa at lunch. Vanessa has been trying for so long to get a to know Nicole more and seems to be the only one willing to do that.

And as if that wasn't enough her parents and siblings would be arriving later that day. So it was going to be a long day but she is going to take this event at a time. So around 11 o clock, she picked out a nice outfit for lunch and did a very simple hairstyle which included curls in.

The drive over to the restaurant was quiet

The drive over to the restaurant was quiet. Scarlett and Nicole didn't really speak on the way over because they were still trying to decide how comfortable they were with each other. Nicole was way more comfortable with Scarlett rather than Chris, who was still not comfortable being alone with Nicole.

Once they arrive at the restaurant they found Vanessa sitting at the end of the restaurant in a booth. She had a smile on her face and you could tell that she was nervous due to the fact that she was tapping on the table. Once she saw her sister she smiled.

"Scarlett!" She said standing to give her a hug.

"Hello, Vanessa." She said politely. Vanessa has been the only one in the family to have reached out regarding Nicole, which has been very nice. The family was still in major shock, her mother was not the happiest about the events that took place at that dinner.

Vanessa pulled away from her sister to look at Nicole. She noticed that the way she awkwardly pulled her hair behind her ear reminded her so much of her sister. She couldn't help but smile.
"Thanks for coming," Vanessa said. She gestured for them to sit down at the booth she was sitting at.

"Thank you for reaching out, not everyone has been so....understanding," Scarlett said, her voice was laced with sadness.

"It's my pleasure. And I am sure mom and dad just need some time." Vanessa reassured. She turned her attention to Nicole. "Hi, I don't know if you know who I am but I am Vanessa, your mother's sister. The much cooler and way more fun child in the Johansson family." She smiled. Nicole couldn't help but smile herself. Venessa seemed to be such an easy person to talk to.

"Hi, I am Nicole." She smiled back. Scarlett smiled to herself as she scanned the menu.

"So I have heard. You are thirteen correct?" Nicole nodded her head. "Wow, officially a teenager. How does it feel."

"It feels no different,"  Nicole said. Scarlett had to admit she was a bit jealous. Nicole seemed to be getting along better with Vanessa and they had just met a few seconds ago. But she wasn't going to let it ruin her day, she was going to try and push it away.
