Shivika walked back to their home holding hand in hand,the rain was falling but it was not their villain. This rain reminded of their journey,a journey from 'checkmate to a lifetime partnership'.
"Come on Annika,It's getting late and also this rain..."
Shivaay said trying to pull Annika inside the car but Annika being Annika left Shivaay's hand and started swirling in the rain. She was enjoying the rain,not caring about anything. Shivaay stood there admiring her,already forgotten about the rain and what he was convincing her for.
Just then clouds started to thunder and Annika hugged her Shivaay tightly. He held her close,really close to him,kissed her hairline,caressed her back and calmed her. He smiled through her hair. She was his baby,she was just his.
"My khidkithod Annika is scared of this thunder.."the teasing session began
"Baagad billa" she pouted and got into the car
They drove off to their home,the journey was silent yet peaceful.
