Wow! I'm getting married TODAY! It sounds impossible but it's true. I still can't believe I'll be married at 37, seems far fetched but here we are with Terry helping me get dress. No, I didn't get a gown for my wedding I just went with a simple white outfit that's fitting for the occasion.

Looking back, I always imagine a grand wedding when Carl and I were still together, me wearing an elegant and stylish gown made by a high-end designer, having food from different continent be serve to our quest, famous musicians playing at my wedding and everything will be extravagant and fabulous.
Looking at myself in the mirror, I tried making sense to everything that is happening. Everything seems to be done in a rush, being pregnant and this wedding and not to mention our living condition. Thinking back to last Saturday's conversation I can't help but sigh.
Flashback...
I've been having a difficult morning, having nausea from this pregnancy and then my nerves kicking in from thinking of meeting Kris' parents. I'm actually going to meet my future in-laws, will they like me? Am I gonna be good enough for them?
What am I thinking? we are not getting married for love. Do I really need their acceptance? I Am really getting ahead of myself, good thing Terry came in on time before I get too far from my thinking.
"are you alright Kat?" Terry asks entering my room.
"Yes, just a bit dizzy and hungry" I ask finishing my make up.
"Well that's normal, you are pregnant after all so you will be hungry all the time but I think that's actually a good thing considering you're gaining a bit weight which is good for you"
"I'm nervous Terry, what if they don't like me?"
"Kat, it will be okay. Your Katrin Dane, everyone who's anyone likes you. There's nothing to be nervous about" Terry said standing behind me and giving my shoulder a squish of comfort.
"this is all new to me. I just want everything to be perfect today" I said standing up while touching my stomach.
"nothing will be perfect Kat and that's what makes everything perfect. Just let everything happen and breath"
"Okay" I hug Terry. I'm really thankful to have this woman in my life as an assistant and more importantly as a friend.
A soft knock broke us apart. One of our maids opened the door after I said 'come in'.
"Ma'am I'm sorry to interrupt you, but the visitors had arrived" I nod to her and she left closing the door.
"let's go?" Terry asks looking worriedly at me. I just nod, I'm really nervous.
"Hey, it's gonna be alright, I will be there and your dad, also I know for a fact Kris will be by your side always."
I don't know why, but knowing Kris will be there calmed me and made me smile all of a sudden.
