It's a Sunday so I decided to take Annabelle for breakfast to IHOP
When I reached her house I instantly knew that she was rich, her house was huge, I'm not even exaggerating.
Once I picked her up we started our drive, what I expected her to do was to turn the radio on and sing like how Ava used to, but instead Annabelle was on her phone the entire time, every time I asked her a question to start a convo she would either nod or give one word answers.
But that was fine, I shouldn't be comparing her to others, right? Right.
Once we reached IHOP we entered and we took a booth at the back.
Once we reach the back something more like someone catches my eye. Rose, Ava, Conner and this guys with red hair similar to Annabelle's are sitting in a booth talking and sometimes even laughing.
Who is he?
He kind of looks like a boy version of Annabelle
"Nolan?what is he doing here?" Annabelle says
"You know him?" I ask
"Yeah silly, he's my twin brother"
No wonder they look alike
But what is he doing with Ava, Conner and Rose?
Annabelle then starts walking towards the three of them, once they see us approach their chattering dies down.
"Nolan? What are you doing here? And what are doing with Rose, Conner and her" Annabelle says while looking at Ava in disgust
What did Ava do to Annabelle?
"Um I don't need to tell you everything that I do and everywhere that I go" Nolan says while rolling his eyes
"Yes you need to tell me where you go and what you do so that I can prevent you from hanging out with people like this piece of trash" Annabelle says while eyeing Ava
"Did you just call me a piece of trash" Ava says offended
"Yes. Yes I did, do you have a problem with that?"Annabelle says sassily and crosses her arms over her chest.
"Yes, I do, what have I ever done to you? I don't even talk to you so why are you being so rude?" Ava says
"Wait what? If she didn't do anything to you why are you being rude to her?" I ask Annabelle
The only reason I was on Annabelle's side was because I though Ava did something to Annabelle which makes her hate Ava so much, but if Ava didn't do anything why is Annabelle being mean?
"Because" Annabelle huffs and shifts from one foot to another.
Wow, what a great explanation, I actually though Annabelle was nice, I guess not?
"Because? Because what?" Rose asks
"I rather tell her in private" Annabelle says and then pulls Ava to the side.
All I see is Annabelle talking to Ava, and Ava looking...mad? Confused? Sad?
They then walk back but I do notice how Ava doesn't look up or meet anyone's eyes
"Buzz Buzz" Conner suddenly makes some Buzzing sound with his mouth "Oh look Rose, your mom is calling we should probably go Right?" Conner says
"My phone wasn't even—" Rose got cut of by Nolan
"Alright! Bye guys" Nolan says while pulling up Ava and Rose and pushing them out of the restaurant.
"Should we take a seat?" Annabelle ask
I don't know why but I now look at Annabelle differently, maybe this is the reason why Rose and Conner stopped hanging out with her? Nah I'm just over thinking this situation...Right?
Suddenly I'm not in the mood of eating...
"Uh actually I need to go home, I forgot—Uh—oh yeah! I forgot to do my homework, pfft, silly me!" I lie and back away from her
"But how will I go home?" She ask
"Uh, you can take a cab!" I say while running out of the restaurant and getting into the car and driving of before she follows.
Maybe Conner was Right, maybe Annabelle was changing me...and not in a good way, how could I be so blind.
Once I reach home I park my car in the garage and enter the house, once I enter I see Ava, Conner and Rose sitting on the sofa and laughing about something.
I walk up and sit down on the sofa and just wait for their laughter to die down, once they stopped laughing and they realised I was sitting there, they all stare at me weirdly and they ask me the same question at once
"Why are you here?"
"Uh, I actually realised my mistake and Annabelle was a real bitch, I was just very blind to notice, and Conner you were right at the beach, Annabelle was changing me for the worst, I hope you guys can forgiven me, especially you Ava, I am so sorry that I was so blind to notice how rude she was to you" I apologise
"It's fine" they all say
Ava then speaks up and ask me "Do you still like her?"
"Uh, no, not really, I'm not even sure I liked her in the first place, I think I just confused myself about liking her, I just though she was kind of attractive" I explain while shrugging my shoulders.
"Oh okay, I forgive you, just keep your distance from that girl, yeah?" She smiles
"Yeah" I grin
