I messaged Calder the time and place this morning.
The meeting was on.
I got there early, sitting in a booth at the back of the dimly lit pub. Telling at least three waiters that I didn't want to order anything, as I anxiously awaited his arrival.
I kept taking deep breaths and shifting my position.
I felt so uncomfortable.
This had been my first time outside in days.
I was on edge.
My reflexes watching out for everything.
I told Noah what I was doing today. And of course at first he wasn't on board, but after I explained that I needed to do this. That it had to be me...or I'd never get over it. He understood...supporting my decision, on one condition...
"Hey, beautiful" a deep somewhat off-putting gravely tone spoke to me, I snapped myself out of my thoughts to see Calder standing in front of me.
