Doting a period on the final sentence of my French essay. I was pretty much done. Finally, all caught up. I wasted away all morning, getting up at 9 am on a Saturday, just so I could finish everything before Noah picked me up tonight.

I was so excited about this art gallery. It sounded very obscure and exclusively 'in the know'. Which is something I'd become accustomed to with Noah, since he was usually 'in the know' about these things.

Stepping off my bed, I stretched nicely for a moment before putting my books away.

I had a solid hour and a half before Noah got here, which was probably just enough time to shower and get ready.

Glancing at myself in my full body mirror, I was still in my PJs, grey shorts and a loose red 'Def Leppard' t-shirt.

My hair tied up in a really messy bun, and once I lightly sniffed my armpits..oh yeah...I really needed to shower.

Opening my bedroom door, I peeked down the hall, checking the bathroom's availability.

All the lights were off.

Where was everyone?

Was I that zoned into my school work that I didn't hear Mila or Andries leave?

Shit.

I double checked their rooms, but yeah...lights off...empty...they were gone.

Odd.

Stepping into the bathroom, I started thinking of what to wear.

It was only a gallery so nothing too fancy needed.

Maybe jeans would be fine.

Or maybe a dress.

Today was pretty warm for a day in February it was 7°C. And...well...I could wear a dress in this weather...as long as I still wore a jacket over it.
