Weekends already approached. My alarm beeped. I was a bit annoyed and snoozed it for 5 minutes because I should've been sleeping more. But then, I realized that we have a meeting today. Why does it have to be a weekend? It's supposed to be a rest day.
I got up with a sigh. We'll finish late if we're not on time.
After thirty minutes, I'm already done. I wore casual clothes and I'm ready to go!
🌰
When I reached our school, I was the only one here. I guess I was too early. The clock didn't strike at 9 yet.
After ten minutes, Beomgyu already arrived.
"Hi!" He waved at me.
I just looked at him. I haven't used to it. Well, I'm really awkward to talk to.
"It's as if I'm talking to myself. You should respond with a hello." He said, he seemed embarrassed. "Or at least smile."
And so, I smiled for two seconds.
"Waaa you smiled! Do it again!" He demanded.
I don't get it. Why is he so enthusiastic every time I meet him? He gets happy with every single thing.
"I already smiled once. That's enough. Why should I do it again?" I raised my brow.
He bit his lip, looking down. "You look cute."
I was taken aback with what he said. Did he just say that I look cute?? No way! I never thought of myself as cute.
"I'm not." I said.
Before Yeonjun could arrive, I should prevent him from knowing the truth. I made a new friend and I needed to do pre-cautions.
"Look," I said suddenly. "I consider you as my friend now but I have conditions."
"What is it?"
I drew in a long, quavering breath. "No one should know that we're friends. We're keeping this a secret."
"Even Yeonjun?" He asked.
"Even him." I answered. "So, what do you think? Is it a deal?"
"Hmm..." He thought for a moment. "Deal."
