When I reached the rooftop, Beomgyu was lying on the ground and I joined him. His eyes were closed. He wasn't sleeping, right?

My body felt icy cold although my head was a little clearer. Something was coming between me and the warmth of the surroundings.

No, not something but someone.

Suddenly, he sat steadily. "Why did you ask to meet here?"

"I wanted to give you something." I said as I sat, too. Then, I gave him the cap.

"Is this for me?" He asked. I just nodded. "Really?"

"Yes,"

"Wait, do you perhaps..." He looked at me teasingly before continuing what he was about to say.

"No way! I don't like you!" I defended.

There was a moment of silence.

"I haven't said anything, though." He said seriously.

I was embarrassed. And so, I left and went to our classroom.

For the entire period, I made sure that Beomgyu and I didn't have an eye contact. I didn't even glance at him because of what happened earlier.

"Why are you still sitting? The bell already rang." Yeonjun said.

"Oh, it's time to go home." I snapped.

"We shouldn't be going home yet."

"What? Where do you plan to go?" I asked.

"I should be asking you that. Where do you plan to treat me?"

🌰

"A bakeshop?" Yeonjun asked.

"Obviously."

"How did you know this place?"

"It's a long story." I answered.

After that, Yeonjun didn't bother to ask more and just ordered.

"It's delicious, right?" I said.

"Yeah! It's lot more delicious than the other bread I've tasted!" He agreed.

I was relieved because Yeonjun was enjoying it.

After several minutes, we already finished eating.

"Thank you for the treat, Nami!" He said happily.

"You're welcome."

"Uhh by the way," He paused for a moment. "I already know what your reaction will be but, there's someone I want to be friends with."

"Do whatever you want."

To be honest, it would be selfish of me if I say that I don't want him to be friends with someone else. But as long as we stay in touch, I think it'll be okay with me.

"Why don't you try making him as your friend, too?" He suggested.

"I'm not interested." I said. "Who is he, by the way?"

"Your seatmate, Beomgyu."
