COACHELLA DAY 3 (chapter 50)

Emmas pov
I just woke up, it's 11:30, I definitely slept in too late, I sit up and look around, Hannah and Ellie aren't in the room or the bathroom for that matter, I get up and go to the bathroom, I look in the mirror and I look rough, I brush my hair and put it in a bun and brush my teeth, I keep on my pajama shorts, a black hoodie, and white high Nike socks. I walk into the kitchen and see Ethan eating cereal, while ellie and Bryant are on the couch
"Good morning sleepy head," Ethan says with a chuckle
"Morning," i say groggily as I rub my eyes
"Where's Hannah and Gray?"
"They went for a walk." E responds and he looks back at his phone, I wanted more attention from his so I came up behind him and kissed him all over his cheek,
"Baaaaabe," Ethan whines and shrinks his head down
"You got chapstick all over meeee," He says and wipes his cheek,
"But I still love youu!" He says and stands then turns around, he picked me up and wrap my legs around him and grab his neck, he kisses me, god I love him. He puts me down and I sit next to him, then someone texts me, it's Meredith,

Hey, what time you wanna hangout?

Well everyone else is going to day 3 so probably around 3:30 since they're leaving at 4

Okay, sounds good
~
"Who ya texting?" Ethan asks
"Oh, I forgot to tell you, I don't think I'm going to day 3."
"Why?" He asks
"Yeah why?" Ellie and Bryant ask from across the room
"Meredith wants to hangout and I don't feel the greatest." I say, his face gets pale
"Meredith who?" He says in a firm voice
"Mickelson.. why?" He sits up straighter
"Emma, no."
"Ethan, yes. You can't decide who I can and can't hangout with." I scoff
"Yes I can, and I say no to her!" He says a bit louder, causing Ellie and Bryant to look over at us
"Ethan, why are you being like this?" I ask
"Because, Emma, you don't know her like I do."
"Ethan, I thought you guys were friends?!"
"Yeah, friends, that's a great way to put it, there's no way she coming here."
"Too bad, Ethan, you guys aren't even going to be here, I really don't see the problem!"
"SHES THE PROBLEM, EMMA!" He yells and slams his phone down on the counter then walks out of the house, "Ethan!!" I yell after him but he doesn't turn around, I'm just frozen to move, I can't do anything, I feel tears running down my face, I don't see the problem. Almost immediately after Ethan walks out the front door Gray and Hannah come in through it,
"What the hell is wrong with him?" Gray asked, I roll my eyes and go to my room, I don't feel like talking to anyone right now. I lay in bed for an hour until Hannah and ellie come into the room to get ready,
"Hey, Em. You ready to talk about what happened? Ellie tried to explain but she didn't hear too much.." she said softly
"I don't even know what fucking happened, one moment we were kissing and hanging all over each other and the next he was screaming at me. I just don't know." I can feel my face heating up again, I really don't want to cry, I don't want them to feel bad for me.
"Awh, Em, I'm sure everything will be just fine." Ellie says
"Has he come back yet?" I ask
"Um, no... Gray went out looking for him, he'll be back." Hannah says
"God dammit. I knew he wouldn't come back, this isn't the first time he's done this." I say, I'm so angry
"Okay, emma, it will be fine. We have to get ready, do you want me to call Gray and ask if he's found him?" Hannah asks
"Yes please." She gets up and goes out of the room, I can hear her talking on the phone. She comes back in a few minutes,
"well, he found him, he was at a café, but he doesn't want to come back here, he doesn't want to see Meredith." Hannah says
"What the hell is so wrong with Meredith?! Why won't anyone tell me!?" I ask, almost a shout
"Only one way to find out. You have to ask Ethan." Hannah says. She's got a point, but he won't come back until she's not here, I'm still having her come over though. While Hannah and Ellie are getting ready I'm just chilling in bed going through social media, I go to my tagged photos and see this one picture of me and Ethan, it's me when I hugged him from behind and kissed him on the cheek, apparently Bryant snapchatted the picture and posted it on his story.
At 3:20 Meredith texted me and said she's on her way, I wonder where Ethan and Grayson are getting ready at, I sure know they're not here. I wait around till she gets here, at 3:35 I hear a knock on the door, I open it and it's Meredith,
"Hey girlll!!" She says very high pitched and excited, I can already tell she's wayyy more girly than I am,
"Heyyyy!" I yell back anyways
"Where is everybody?" She asks
"Hannah and Ellie are in our room getting ready, Bryant's in his room, and Ethan and Grayson..." I pause, I don't know where they are..
"They're on a walk!" I lied
"Oh, when will they be back, I have something I want to give to Ethan." She says, and holds a note
"Um, I'm sure they won't be back, I think they're already on their way." I lied again
"I can take that for him and give it to him when he gets back though!"
"No, I wanna give it to him, you know, face to face." She says
"Oh, ahah, sure." I turn around awkwardly and sit on the couch
"So, Meredith, how did you meet the twins?"
"Well, it was at a party, their friend jacks party," who's jack?
"Everyone was drinking except for them, I was curious and I went over to them and asked them why, gray just said because they don't want to and walked away, while Ethan said there was more, so we went up to a room and we just talked all night.." she continued
"Wow, sure seems like you and Ethan really hit it off.."
"Oh, most definitely, we dated! I forgot to mention." Oh my god.
"How long ago, did -did you guys date?" I stutter
"Oh, maybe two years ago, we didn't last that long." Oh my god it's her.
"What happened?"
"He cheated on me, with some random girl, oh my god I was so heartbroken." Holy shit. She the girl Gray was talking about, no wonder Ethan got so mad.
Hannah and ellie left at 4, Meredith and I hung out will 7:30, while she was leaving she dropped a slip of paper on the way out, it must've been the note, I don't want to invade her privacy..
"Hey Meredith you- " wait, he's my boyfriend, I'm reading this, I hide it behind my back
"You are a great friend, can't wait to hangout again. Bye" and I close the door, it sucks that she's a bitch, she seemed really nice to me and it seemed like we had a lot in common. After she leaves I go into my room and read the note,
Ethan, I love you and I always will, I will countlessly apologize for what I did, it's just seeing you with Emma makes me jealous, you're mine, don't forget that. I want you back, please baby, pick, me or emma. Call me, if you need my number, ask emma;)

Oh my god, I have to tell Ethan, but I should probably tell ellie and Hannah first.
I fell asleep but I wake up a few hours later to someone in the room, I was expecting it to be ellie and Hannah
"You guys are home!! I slept because I was so bored, but I really gotta tell you something." I groan, I fully open my eyes, trying to adjust what I was seeing, it was Ethan.
"Oh my god, Ethan, your back! How was it?" I ask
"Fine. How was your little play date with Meredith?" He asked in an annoyed voice
"Fine." I say back
"Emma, you know your a lot to handle? I love you but god, you- never mind. I love you goodnight." He says and try's to leave
"What the actual fuck Ethan? You can't do this, please tell me what I did wrong." I'm crying but I barely even notice it
"Nothing emma."
"You know what, have Meredith and leave me alone." And I throw the note at him
"What's this?" He asks and picks it up
"A note, from Meredith, she wanted to give it to you face to face but she left it here, read it, you know what, wait to read it."
"Why wait?"
"Because, after you read the it, the choice won't be too hard."
"What do you mean?"
"Read it." I say sternly , but crying. He reads it fast
"Oh my god, emma, you know I would always pick you, no matter what. I don't want Meredith, I want you." He says
"How do I know that, I don't know what you and Meredith had,  i don't know if it was better than what we have."
"Emma, listen to me," he sits down next to me and looks me in the eyes
"Meredith is a bad person, that's why I don't want you to be around her, I wasn't trying to be controlling, I don't want you to be around her."
"Okay, I understand, I won't hangout with her, I just can't lose you." My voice breaking, he holds me
"I love you, never forget that." He begins to get up
"Can we just lay here, please?" I ask
"Let's go to my room." He picks me up and we go to his bed, where we sleep till the next morning
