"Alex!" I say giggling. "Alex stop!" I laugh. "No!" He says as he tickles me. I grab his face and kiss it. "We need to get ready because it's y/b/f/n birthday party today!" I say. "Oh yeah huh?" He says getting off of me. I run to my room and get changed, Alex brought a change of clothes. Once we were done we realized the party starts at 8:30. It's 8:50 and we're late. "Shit." I say grabbing her present. "Ready?" Alex said. "Yup!" I say smiling. I step out the house feeling the warm summer breeze hit me. I quickly admire the sky and make my way to the car. I get in and wait for Alex to get in. I begin to get anxious about Alex. The first time we went to a party he made out with one of my friends and we broke up. He broke my heart three times but somehow I managed to still love him and trust him. "You ok?" Alex says laying his hand on my hip. "Mhm." I smile. He nods his head and pulls out the drive way. Time skip to the party we were enjoying ourselves dancing, kissing, drinking, and having the time of our lives. I got pretty drunk but not so drunk. "Y/nnn!" Annie one of my friends said. "Yess?" I say sheepishly. "Let's go to sleeep!" She says. "Fuck Yeah!" I say. She puts her arm on my shoulders and we walk to the closes bedroom. I laugh for no reason and I look onto the bed. I stand there in shock not knowing what to say or do. My other friend walks in with two cups of alcohol. "Shit. Y/n it's not what it looks like!" Alex says getting up from the bed. I feel my eyes water. I blink and feel the tear run down my face. I look at my so called best friend on the bed looking guilty. "Y/n don't do it. They're not worth it." Annie said. "Shut the fuck up!" I snap. "Lydia go get Diego!" Annie said. Lydia nods and hands Annie the drinks. "You really think I'm fucking dumb Alex?" I say. He stands there not knowing what to say. "I said YOU REALLY THINK IM DUMB?" I say louder. "Babe stop." He says. "I'm not your fucking babe!" I say.  "You already fucking did this three times! Three fucking times!" I say pushing him roughly. He stands there with no reaction. I push him several times more until I get pulled away. "Y/n calm down." Diego said. "NO THAT FUCKING WHORE AND ALEX WERE MAKING OUT! SHES PRACTICALLY NAKED!" I yell. "Y/n calm down." Diego says. "You fucking bitch!" Annie tells Jennifer my so called best friend since 6th grade. She sits there acting like a pussy. I get out of Diego's arms and grab the cups of alcohol from Annie. "Stupid bitch!" I say dumping the cold beer on her. She gasps and gets the sheets on her. I get pulled by Alex and he starts yelling at me. "WHAT THE FUCK Y/N? WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?" Alex said. "SHUT THE FUCK UP!" I say pushing him and punching his chest until I felt weak.  I fell on the floor from crying and the amount of times I hit Alex. "Let's go babe." Alex says picking up Jennifer from the floor. I cry on the floor getting picked up by Diego. He held me in his arms and rubbed my back. Annie and Lydia come and sit by me. "He's fucking stupid y/n." Lydia said. "Yeah he's such a dickhead for leaving you for that hoe." Annie said. I heard Diego giggle. I give no emotion. "I'ma go take y/n home." Diego said. "I ordered you an Uber." Lydia said. "That was fucking fast." Annie said. "I know." Lydia said. "When is gonna be here?" Diego said. "In five minutes." Lydia said. "Okay let's get up. Come on y/n." He said standing up. I nodded and stood up. "You ok love?" Annie said giving me a hug. "Mhm." I say sniffing and wiping my eyes. We walked out of the house and I saw Alex starring at me in guilt but he only did it cause he saw me crying. I rolled my eyes at him and looked forwards. The Uber arrived and I gave my friends a hug and got in the car with Diego. He gave the Uber driver my address. I rested my head on Diego as he stared out the window. I was still crying a little from losing Alex. 25 minutes later we arrived to my house, thankfully my parents were out so I had the house to myself. Diego and I walked to the couch and sat there. It was quite and awkward. I opened my phone and saw my lock screen which was a photo of me and Alex kissing. I close it and begin to cry. "Hey hey it's okay." Diego said coming closer to me. "It's not diego!" I say. "Just relax y/n." He says pulling me into a hug. "Let it all out." He said. I sob into his arms. I felt different than when Alex would do this to me, it felt...better. "Maybe I got my hopes up too high." I say. "Y/n, i don't know why you chose Alex, there's many more guys at our school, online, everywhere." Diego said. "I know Diego." I say. "So why did you choose him?" He said. I got out of his arms and looked at him. "I don't know. I was stupid." I said. "Do you still love him?" Diego says. I look at him. I do still. "You do huh?" Diego says. I shrug my shoulders. "Y/n he broke your heart like what? 3 times?" He said. "It's fine, i didn't need my heart anyway." I say. "Yes you do!" Diego says grabbing my hand. I look at him. His adorable curls, his adorable face. I felt the urge to kiss him. I leaned in and kissed him. I pulled away and hand my eyes wide open. "I'm so fucking sorry I- I don't know why I did th-" I was cut off by Diego placing his lips on mine. "It's fine y/n." He smiled. I cuddled up in his arms. He turned on the TV and we watched on my block. I heard my phone blowing up, I turned it on and saw messages from Alex.

"Alex wants to talk." I said. "Is he here?" He asked. I nodded and he nodded. "Scream if he does anything." Diego said. I let out a soft giggle and got up. I opened the door and saw Alex on the stairs crying. "Alex?" I said softly. He turned around really fast and got up. He pulled me into a hug. "Y/n I'm so fucking sorry I don't know what got in me! I want you back please." Alex said begging. I stayed quite. "Can we be together again?" He said. "no." I said. He pulled away from the hug. "What do you mean no?" He asked. I looked into his bloodshot eyes. "I don't want to get back together Alex, you did this three times already to me. I tried to hard to make this relationship work." I said beginning to sob in between sentences. "You broke me like I was one of your promises." I said looking down. "I'm sorry baby." He said. "No I tried to hard to make this relationship work." I said. "Leave Alex." I said. "Baby-" "Leave!" I said. "Ugh." He said and walked to his car slamming the door and driving off really fast. I wipe my eyes and go inside. "Everything ok?" Diego said. I nod and give a fake smile. Here I go faking smiles again.
