Lost Loving Souls (Connor x Reader)

Chapter 90

You all stood in front of the building, ready for whatever lay inside. You led the way, finding the most discreet way inside. Once you were all inside, you followed the tracker to the androids you were looking for. 

"This way." You whispered to them.

"We should split up. You, Connor, and Lieutenant Anderson should find the androids. If it is alright with Detective Reed, we should look for anything connecting them to the other attacks. It would be beneficial to get more solid evidence." Collin said quietly. You nodded.

"Agreed. Meet back at the exit as soon as you can." You replied. The two of them nodded and headed off on their own. You led Connor and Hank the rest of the way. You followed it into a different room. You had your gun at the ready, but there was nothing in there. It was pretty dark actually. You could only see the glow off your LED's. You turned off your LED. It was a perk Kamski had added.

"Connor, come here." He came over and you tied a bandana around his head to cover his. He was confused, but you whispered to him. "I get the feeling we aren't alone." He nodded and you grabbed Hanks hand. You all made sure not to lose each other. You kept following the tracking device. It went across the room...toward the darkest corner. You grabbed your gun, pulling it out slowly. Suddenly, a heavy weight crashed into you and you felt hands trying to restrain you. You called out quickly.

"IT'S A TRA-" Your mouth was stuffed with a gag in seconds. 

"(Y/n)!" Connor called.

"Connor, watch your back!" Hank shouted. Then you heard Hank shout. He was clearly restrained now as well. You heard a laugh.

"You all really are easy to catch. Try and find them, Detective~" Suddenly, you heard Connor shout in shock and pain. You tried to yell out for him, but you only choked on the gang. "While avoiding the rest of us." You struggled harder, but this man was stronger than you. You got an idea. You stomped your heal on the ground. The loud clicking sound caught Connor's attention. You heard rushed footsteps and suddenly the weight was off of you. You gasped for air as the gag loosened and fell out of your mouth. You turned. You could hardly see the two through the darkness, but you knew which was which. Connor had a less powerful heat signature. 

"Hey!" They both turned toward you. You lashed out, punching your attacker hard in the face. You felt his nose break on contact and he collapsed, down and out. Connor turned.

"Hank!?" You heard another stomping sound. You looked around. You saw him in the other corner.

"Stop them!" 

"There!" You said. You and Connor were able to see your attackers and fight them off as you hurried to help Hank. Connor got Hank while you covered him. Suddenly, you heard another angry shout and something sparked out in the other far corner. The lights suddenly burst to life. The sparked out, bursting entirely a moment later and showering your attackers with burning sparks. You felt a hand grab yours.

"This way!" You followed the stranger with the others close behind.

"IDIOTS! GET THEM! DON'T LET THEM GET AWAY!" You all hurried to escape. Once you were in the light again, you saw it was a male android that had helped you all.

"Nate!" Connor said with a smile on his face.

"I knew you'd come, Connor! Come on! She's this way!" He said, leading the way.

"AFTER THEM, YOU MORONS!!" You glanced back. 

"We've got company!"

"We won't get to her room before they get a shot at us!" Nate said. You growled in anger and whipped around, firing with exact aim.
