Lost Loving Souls (Connor x Reader)

Chapter 181

As you were getting ready, you began to think of places you could go to. You had one place in mind, but you weren't sure if the others would want to go. It had been a long time since you'd been there. You shrugged to yourself. There was no harm in asking.

You headed out once you'd finished up with your makeup. You walked down the hall and you smiled as you saw Connor standing there. He always seemed to be ready before you. It was rare that you were ready first. 

He looked up as he heard you coming, something you were very used to by now. He smiled as he studied your outfit. You blushed slightly. You already knew the answer, but you asked anyway.

"Do you like it?" He chuckled.

"Anything you have looks beautiful on you," He insisted, giving you a kiss on your cheek as he pulled you into his arms. "but yes, I like it a lot." You giggled.

"Thanks, Connor." You stepped out of his embrace. He seemed to understand that you had another question for him. "Do you think we could go to Chester's tonight? I mean, it's just been a long time since I've been there. I think he might be wondering if I'm still alive, heh." You joked. Connor chuckled at your joke before humming, clearly debating on the question.

"I don't see why not. After all, it has food, drinks, music, and room for having a bit of fun. It seems perfect for a small fun night out." He agreed. You smiled happily and hugged him.

"I hope Marin and Adriana like it."

"I'm sure they will, love. Now, come on. We'd best get going if we don't want to be late." You nodded. You made sure the cats had food and water before following Connor out the door and to the car.

You hopped in and Connor drove you back to where you'd gone to visit the couple earlier. They were outside within a minute and in the car a few moments later. 

"Thanks for inviting us out, you two," Marin said as they got in.

"I think all four of us deserve some fun time out together." You told him.

"Where are we going?" Adriana asked.

"Someplace I always loved going to. Besides, I have a buddy there I'd like to visit again. I haven't seen him in months." You explained. 

"Sounds like a good place to me!" Marin said with a smile. Adriana nodded in agreement, also smiling happily at Connor drove you all along. 

After about 15 minutes of driving, you all arrived at Chester's. You were thrilled to see it was still doing well and hadn't ben one of the establishments to collapse after the revolution. Some places had gone out of business from the loss of workers and customers. Many of those places had been the android free zones. Still, it was clear that Chester's wasn't going anywhere.

Connor parked and you led the way as the three of them followed after you. You went inside and saw that the place was bigger than before. Renovations had been made, better service other than just Chester was provided, and it was definitely a more fun-loving and lively place.

Still, one thing hadn't changed. Chester was manning the bar with a smile on his face as always. He looked happy as ever and was clearly pleased with how his place had grown. He looked over as the four of you came in. His eyes lit up as he spotted you. You smiled back at him, equally thrilled to see him.

"(Y/n)!" He walked out from behind the counter and came over with his arms spread wide, welcoming you happily.

"Nice to see you again too, Chester!" You greeted. You both hugged and then he looked behind you. He saw Connor and his smile widened.
