Gavin's POV

After (Y/n) and Connor had gone home, Collin and I relaxed for a bit before I began to get bored. I wondered if there was something he'd enjoy doing with me. There wasn't much I really wanted to do. Well...maybe there was, but if I'm being honest? I had no ideas. I'm not exactly the creative activity type, alright? I glanced over at him as he went to pet Satin who had hopped up onto the arm of the couch.

"Uh...hey, do you wanna...find something to do?" I asked, scratching the back of my neck nervously. I really wasn't good at this. I'd never been in a real relationship before, let alone one with a guy. Not to mention he was also an android. Collin looked over at me.

"Something to do? Are you not enjoying this?" He asked.

"No, no! It's nice and all, but...as much as I used to do it by myself, which is normal, I just...I don't want to sit on my ass all day today for some reason. It's...it gets old, ya know?" I asked. He smiled a little.

"I understand. Is there anything you can think of that you'd like to do?" He asked. I thought about it.

"I...I'm not good at coming up with ideas," I muttered. He hummed, thinking about it. I saw his eyes widen after a moment. "What?" I asked. He looked at me, but he looked unsure.

"Well, I just searched up things couples do, but..." I blushed.

"What the fuck did you find!?" I said.

"I just saw going out on a date as an option. Why is this alarming?" I calmed down, now understanding why he looked surprised.

"Ugh...sorry it's just...I was thinking you found something else. Nevermind, but...a date? I...I still don't really want people finding out that we're together." He nodded. Then, I came up with an idea. "Wait...what if...we had a date here? Like something casual. A few drinks, a movie, some snacks or whatever..." He looked surprised. I blushed. "Nevermind, it's stupid."

"No, no, I..." He paused. He smiled at me, blushing slightly. "I would enjoy something like that. It sounds...nice." I blushed harder.

"W-well then...tonight, I guess," I said. He nodded.

"Tonight." There was silence.

"I-I'm gonna go out and pick up a few things for it then. Um...you get the place ready. I'll be back tonight." I said.

"Where will you be until then?" He asked.

"I-I need to run into work for something. I guess I'll just stay there until it's time." I lied. I was going to get (Y/n) to come so I could talk to her because I had zero fucking ideas on what I was going to do.

"You're still not well, Gavin. You should stay. I'll go get what we need if you just tell me what it is."

"N-no! I'll be fine. I'll take it easy, I promise." I told him. He looked confused for a moment, his LED spinning yellow. Don't figure out I'm lying. Don't figure out I'm lying! I prayed. He sighed, his LEd going back to blue.

"Alright. If you insist." He pulled me in and I blushed as he hugged me. I hugged back. "Just be careful. I don't want you tearing anything or opening a wound again."

"Jesus, I'm not five, Collin," I told him.

"Are you sure about that, Detective?" He asked with a grin. I shoved him lightly and began to head out.

"I'll be back tonight, tin can," I said.

"I'll see you then, Gavin." He replied and I left. I swallowed hard, having a small panic attack as I got to the car. Fuck, what was I thinking!? Why'd I agree to this!? I called (Y/n).
