/THIRD PERSON POV/

Lisa quickly let go of Jennie's waist, and Jennie retreated her hands from the former's biceps. They then acted like nothing had happened, fingers scratching neck and feet nervously shuffled on the floor beneath.

Chaeyoung and Jisoo shared a knowing look, both were confused at what they had seen but neither asked further explanations.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" Chaeyoung asked, approaching her older sister. The question turned out having two-sided meaning, but Lisa decided to ignore the second one.

"To remind you the main function of a phone," Lisa answered. "I've been calling you since yesterday yet you hadn't picked up even once. I thought someone kidnapped you."

"I'm sorry, I haven't checked my phone since yesterday afternoon," Chaeyoung offered an apologetic smile.

"Well, seems like Jendeuk has made breakfast here," Jisoo chirped in, taking a seat on the four chaired dining table.

"Right," Chaeyoung took the seat across Jisoo instantly.

Lisa looked over Jennie who had made her way to the chair beside Jisoo. Jennie put the ice cream topped pancake on the middle of the table, then poured chocolate syrup on top of it.

Lisa only took one pancake, and she even divided in half. She ate the first half and gave the other one to Chaeyoung's plate. Living with the latter for two decades, Lisa was aware that her younger sister was always the most hungry in the mornings.

Jennie noticed Lisa's action and smiled at the sight. The sight of the two siblings being all cute in front of her made her miss her little sister, Ella, all in a sudden. Ella loved her pancakes, such a shame that little lady lived so far away from her, in New Zealand along with her mom.

Her smile faltered when she saw Chaeyoung sweetly gave a light kiss on Lisa's cheek and the latter groaned playfully at it. Honestly, if she didn't know that both of them were siblings and they didn't look this much alike, she would've thought they were a couple.

A very sweet, loving couple.

Thank God they were siblings, then. Because Jennie couldn't bare if they were actually a couple, not with this weird feeling bubbling inside her stomach every time she laid her eyes on Lisa.

The four of them ate the pancakes with a little conversation here and then. Between every sentence, a pair of doe eyes would flicker into another pair of cat-like eyes.

This, of course, didn't go unnoticed by the other two. Jisoo and Chaeyoung shared another knowing look at the two sitting across each other beside them, but they decided not to say anything. Instead, they enjoyed the soft texture of Jennie's pancake blended with the fresh sweetness of vanilla and strawberry ice cream.

Lisa thought Jennie couldn't get any more likable, but she was proved wrong. When Chaeyoung told her Jennie was a great cook, she didn't think it was this good. Jennie was able to make a simple dish tasted so good, so delicious.

Lisa then found herself staring at Jennie way too long.

She was lost in the way Jennie's cheeks would puff out whenever the latter chewed the pancake, or how her eyes flickered here and there while processing it. And the sound of her laugh whenever Lisa let out corny jokes that Chaeyoung didn't even find amusing, it was just a beautiful melody to Lisa's ears.

After breakfast, Chaeyoung and Lisa thanked Jennie for the pancakes. Then exited the front door after Chaeyoung had collected all her belongings from Jennie's apartment.
