We were finally seated at a table on the patio outside the restaurant. There were fairy lights strewn along the building, along the fences, from pole to pole, etc. With the amount of different colored lights, the patio felt very festive. We were set up around a large circular table and on either side of me were Jin and Hoseok. We had all received our drinks and were now waiting on the food to arrive.

Passing the time, Jin was telling me dad jokes as I laughed at how cringy they were. They were horribly funny. Hoseok was listening from beside me and he rolled his eyes at each one, but grinned nonetheless. The maknae line all sat together on the other side of Jin and were looking at a game on Jungkook's phone. Jimin scolded Jungkook several times while Taehyung cheered him on. Jungkook just had a focused expression and occasionally lightly shoved Jimin because he was too close. Yoongi and Namjoon appeared to have a serious conversation on the other side of Hoseok judging by their stern expressions and serious hand gestures.

I was pulled out of my observations when I heard Jin ask me, "Do you know what a runaway strawberry is called?

"Uh. Wild berry?"

"Strawberry jam!" He started laughing his (according to what Hoseok mentioned) famous "windshield wiper laugh" and I honestly couldn't help but laugh along. Hoseok just looked disappointed in his seat.

"Okay, okay. Do you know what color hamburgers are?"

After some thought, I didn't have a response so I just said, "No?"

There was a suspenseful pause before Jin said, "Burgundy!" He laughed very loudly afterwards and I eventually couldn't help but regretfully join him. Hoseok looked down while shaking his head, but had a small grin on his face. The waiter, that took our order, had arrived with our food as Jin and I were trying to fan out our red faces from laughing so much. With the food all laid out, we began to dig in.

The boys insisted on sharing food around the table again and by the end of it, we did have some plates to take home. I gave my leftover Kung Pao Chicken to Jungkook since he wanted some and he gladly took it. When the bill came, I reacted quick enough to snatch it before any of the guys could. They finally agreed to allow me to pay for my portion of the meal and I smiled in response. I mean free food is wonderful, but I feel really bad afterwards because someone had paid for my meal when I gave nothing in return. We simply left the restaurant with satisfied stomachs and large smiles on our faces. When we arrived at the apartment complex, everyone was too tired to continue the night, so we all said a brief "good night" and retired to our rooms.

I turned on the kitchen and living room lights once I entered. Switching my shoes for slippers, I step into the kitchen and grab myself a cup of water before going over to my room and checking my bag.

I briefly looked over my art supplies for the year, as well as each syllabus for supplies I would need. Quickly noting the needed supplies, I set the list on my fridge and walk out to the living room with my phone in hand. The time showed 9:30 on the clock and I had received two missed calls from my mother. Quickly calling her back, she answered after a couple rings.

-How quickly she can change her tone of voice is scary, even though I've personally seen her change her mood quickly first-hand, it still scares me.-

My classes are alright. I found them all easily. I'm also holding up just fine in my apartment. The neighbors are very kind and have all said to ask them if I have any problems. They also invited me out to eat at Panda Express for dinner.<

The call ended right after and I just stared at the dark phone screen showing my reflection a bit. To say my first day at the University wasn't interesting, isn't exactly correct. At least I know several people around campus, right?

I quickly hopped off the couch and entered the kitchen to drop off my cup. I finished cleaning the small amount of dishes before turning off the lights to the kitchen and living room. Upon entering my bedroom, I take a quick shower and finish my night routine before getting ready for bed. Checking my phone, I had three notifications.

Kookie: Have a good night y/n! See you tomorrow on campus.

Y/n: Night night! See you tomorrow.

||TaeTae's Conversation||

TaeTae: Y/n!!! Have good dreams, see you tomorrow in art~

Y/n: Yes, see you tomorrow! Rest well Tae~

||Chimmy's Conversation||

Chimmy: Night! Btw about Taehyung earlier with the cuddling, he is usually very clingy with people close to him. You are already a close friend with us because you live near us and we all bonded well with you. So just to clear up with Taehyung being very cuddly, he will probably continue, just be warned. In any case, see you at lunch tomorrow y/n :)

Y/n: Ah, I see. Thank you for the information! Nighty Night Jimin.

Chimmy: One more note, I suggest you not tell anybody that you live near us. Many girls may try to get our address out of you, and we do not need that. Yes, the apartment complex is not that secluded or far from the school, but we would like our privacy. Thank you y/n.

Y/n: That's fine. I understand if you like your privacy. See you tomorrow :)

After turning off my phone, I plug it into the charger before turning off the lights and laying in bed. Jimin reminded me about how close Taehyung was earlier. It was very weird to be hugged so closely by a boy, because I hadn't been that close with someone like that before. He embraced me tightly and for awhile too. But if Jimin said Taehyung treats people close to him like that, then it's nice to know I'm in his close range of friends. I drift off to sleep eventually.
