It was Thursday afternoon and I was late in arriving at the cafe after my last class. Professor Moni wanted to finish her lecture so we could get started on the assignment code over the weekend. She took 30 minutes and thanked us for listening.

I hastily packed up my bags as I glanced around the area to assure I got everything. Heaving out a relieved sigh at finally being set free, I casually stepped out of the room as I took out my phone.

I was surprised when I noticed several messages from Yoongi asking about my whereabouts.

I sped up my pace when I saw his last message reading "I need you."

Recalling that the last time we made any physical contact was Tuesday night when I briefly held his hand on the walk to the parking lot behind the group, I didn't know if he was struggling as badly as it sounds like he had through the text, so I hurried my steps.

Upon turning the corner to the cafe, I instantly began to scan the area for the boys. It took a bit, but I noticed they were secluded in the corner booth next to a couple windows. I immediately knew something was off because the guys were worriedly looking at Yoongi's pained expression.

Stepping closer to the table, he instantly shot his eyes open from their scrunched position. Directly gazing at me, I could tell he was in pain. I halted my movement once I stood in front of the table and nervously bit my lip.

Yoongi suddenly stood up and asked Jimin and Jin to slide out of the sides of the booth. Both did so without hesitancy but flashed a perturbed look as Yoongi scrambled out of the seat. All the boys watched as Yoongi stepped closer to me and grabbed my hand tightly. I felt a small tingle run through my skin as he looked back at the others.

"We'll be right back. I just needed to ask her for something."

Pulling me away, I only took one look over my shoulder to see the boys staring at our moving forms with confusion and concern before leaving the cafe.

I watched the back of Yoongi's head as he swiveled his way through the hall with my hand still tightly gripped in his.

It wasn't for another minute of walking before he pulled us in a secluded corner near the end of the building.

He abruptly halted which caused me to crash into his back from the brisk walking pace we took before.

"Ow! Hey are you al-"

Yoongi turned and hugged me tightly, my face instantly planting into the cotton of his shirt.

He tucked his face into my neck and firmly gripped the back of my shirt in his hold as he let out labored breaths.

I stayed silent for a couple of minutes as I let him even out his breathing and slightly loosen his grip as he relaxed.

"Are you okay?"

In response, it took him a moment before he shook his head.

"It hasn't been a good day. Everything has been frustrating me and I hate this ache in my chest on top of every bad thing that's happened today."

I let him take a couple deep breaths before speaking.

"What happened?"

He didn't respond for a few seconds before he let out a frustrated groan and burrowed further into my neck. I would've laughed, but perhaps it wasn't the right moment to.

"It's just been one of those days where I hold a deep hatred for anything and everything that has done me wrong."

"Care to elaborate?"
