'The hell you are not going to stay behind with just her!' Ashley came screaming in my ear after class finished

'Say that to Ms' I had nothing else to say

'Urrggghhh!' She growled

Is she a dog?

'I don't like how Ms puts you two together for Romeo and Juliet when she clearly sees that all you two ever do is argue' I rolled my eyes in my head 'like I know Kelly's doing the most to get you back, all those arguments she starts with you........now she's gonna try her hardest to get you back in detention'

'Wait, What?' I was confused 'Kelly isn't trying to get me back and even if she was, I wouldn't fall for it' I said

'Are you really that stupid, she's your ex, she's always on you and you entertain it' she spat

'Entertain what!' I was shocked 'I don't know whose being telling you shit but to me you sound really threatened by Kelly'

'Threatened!' She wanted to laugh 'Why would I want to be threatened by a girl that wears a wig on her hair to hide her nappy hair underneath it' she acted as if she didn't sweat Kelly

'What do you mean by nappy? her hair isn't nappy' I said

'Clearly the two year relationship wasn't worth it, she wasn't showing you the real her' she started chatting shit 'like come on now.......you know black girls don't really.......you know......have really nice her......especially curly hair- oh your eyes are getting-'

'SHUT THE FUCK UP!' I yelled causing her to step backwards in fright 'How the fuck you gon' stand in front of me and run your damn mouth about my previous relationship with Kelly. No one knows that girl like I know her, you have no business chatting shit about her when she's done nothing to you. And how the hell you gon think just because she black she don't have nice her, that's her hair, it grew out her own fucking scalp, just like your straight ass hair.......fuck outta here with that bullshit!'

'You see what I mean, she's your ex and your still defending her!' Ashley spat 'you've never defended me!'

'BECAUSE SOMETIMES YOU'VE NEVER DESERVED TO BE DEFENDED!' I shouted at her as I turned the corner of my eye to see Kelly coming out of the classroom

'Alright then........cool' the last thing Ashley said as she stormed off

'Urrgghhhh' I groaned as I sat down at the table Kim, Mya and Jasmine were at having lunch

'Girl you look as if you're gonna cry, what happened?' Kim asked as she stopped her conversation

'DeVante literally lashed out on me' I said

'Is he having his little tantrums with you again?' Mya suggested as I gave her a look

'It's not funny Mya' I pointed out

'Did I say it was funny?' She gave a little bit of an attitude 'sheesh.....' she bit down into her apple

'What did he say to you?' Jasmine asked

'We must've been talking, you know about the play and all of a sudden he just shouted at me' I said

'Ash, That doesn't make any sense' Kim spotted 'what really happened?'

'Why don't you believe me when I tell you stuff!' I nearly growled due to my frustration

'We believe you, it's just that you're not telling the full story and DeVante ain't gonna get mad at you for no reason, something must've not sat well with him' Kim thought

'You act as if you've known him since you were babies' I wanted to laugh

'Yeah Whatever, What happened though?' Kim shrugged off

'I started talking about his previous relationship with Kelly.....like not in a bad way and he just got really defensive' I said purposely leaving out the other part I said about Kelly's hair 'like he acted as if he was still her girlfriend, like I feel like he still has feelings for her'

'Girl he don't have feelings for her' Jasmine reassured me 'if he did, he would be crawling back to her like crazy by now, plus Kelly is the one that messed up so that's her lost'

'Girl how you gone sit up here and act like you were there to witness what was going on within their relationship?' Mya started to laugh at Jasmine's assumptions as a serious look came across Kim's face

'Exactly, you don't know the shit Kelly's been through......hell I don't know half myself, don't be acting like Kelly's the reason and DeVante isn't, you know how one sided the situation is? You know his part but not Kelly's' Kim got defensive

'Jeez Kim!' Jasmine thought Kim was playing

'I'm not joking, Jazz, that's my sister, be careful on what and how you say things'
