(Writer's POV)

'We should go out this weekend!' Kelly seemed energetic as she rushed over to Nick with a big smile on her face

Kelly realised that there was no point trying to cling on what her and DeVante had and that spark was gone. She knows she's told herself a million times that she's going to give Nick a chance and she's decided that this chance that she was going to give to him was now and she's going to be very serious with him.

'Oh.....okay where?' Nick was shocked and happy by her reaction

'Maybe we can go and watch a film or something- your choice!' She said

'Wooaahhhhh, did you drink this morning?' Nick Laughed

'Nooo' Kelly responded, looking at him weirdly 'I just wanna spend more time with you, that's all' she smiled

'Well I can't say no to that' Nick Said 'So what you wanna see this weekend?'

'Well there's this new film Above the Rim, it just came out and boyyy Tupac's fine ass gonna be in the film' Kelly half gushed

'I don't think you understand shawty, I'm the only finest and flyest man you've seen, Pac ain't got nothing on me' Nick started boasting

'Oh really!' Kelly started laughing, looking him up and down at the same time

'Yes really, and you know it's true' he said

'Hmm.......'

'Hmm.......what?' Nick mimicked her response

DeVante was with Jojo, K-Ci and Dalvin in the hallway chatting god knows what. DeVante managed to zone himself out the conversation as all he had on his mind was Ashley. These couple of days without her has made DeVante go a little mad. He feels lonely without her, he doesn't really see himself engaging in conversation with the boys which they have noticed, but as they kinda of know what DeVante is going through, they don't feel like interfering with him.

DeVante soon snapped out of his thoughts and feelings as he spotted Kelly talking to Nick. He decided to pay close attention especially to Kelly just to see how she's responding to his comments.

She seems happy......

DeVante didn't care if she was happy, he knew what type of dude Nick was- he's one of the dudes that like to get around. Even though DeVante and Kelly weren't on good terms most of the time, he knew Nick was trying to pursue Kelly in some way but didn't pay much attention to it.

Now that him and Kelly are on good terms and the fact that he doesn't want nothing bad to happen to Kelly, he's more concerned on Nick's motives and what he's going to do with Kelly.

'Yo Look' DeVante said interrupting the conversation

'What?' Dalvin didn't get what DeVante was looking at

'Kelly's talking to Nick, dumbass' DeVante rolled his eyes at Dalvin's slowness

'Okay and?.....' K-Ci didn't get it

'She's talking to Nick-' DeVante repeated himself '- you know what he's like?'

'Yes, but he seems happy and she's seems happy.....De man leave them alone man and mind ya business' Dalvin said

'Plus I ain't seen him entertain any other girl other than Kelly' K-Ci added on

'Wait so he's entertaining Kelly?' DeVante automatically thought, still making back and forth eye contact with the boys, then at Kelly and Nick

'No De not like that-' K-Ci became annoyed as DeVante started to overreact 'like since Kelly has got here, his eyes has been set on Kelly and only Kelly, he's not interested in any other girl'

'How do you know that?' DeVante asked

'Well since you were too busy slurping up STDS from Ashley, you missed that part' Dalvin butted in

'Don't- Don't remind me off her' DeVante acted as if he was over Ashley when he knew damn well he wasn't

'De you know you still like her' Jojo chimed in along the conversation

'No I don't, she's completely out my mind!' DeVante lied

'DeVante, no one can move on like that, after nearly a two years' Jojo carried on

'I know if that was me, I would've moved on within a hot second, can't blame De if he's really moved on' K-Ci blurted out 'but then again, I don't go for girls like Ashely.....'

'K-Ci you're chatting shit, you'll fuck anything with a pussy' DeVante screwed his face

'I wouldn't even be surprised if Ashley gave you some' Jojo muttered under his breathe

'Nah Nah Nah, hoes are easy, that's why I fuck they asses.......but women like my girl Mary, I'm making love to her and If you don't mind.......Imma make love to Kelly as well, spend time on her and........'

'Nigga you ain't making love to Kelly, she don't want your crusty ass!' DeVante felt ticked of by K-Ci's comment

'K-Ci puts some vaseline on those big fish lips of yours, talking all this confidence' DeVante said
