'I'm hungry, you trying to get something to eat?' I asked Dalvin as we both hopped into his car

'Wheww.......where you wanna go?' He asked me putting his seatbelt on

'Somewhere where I can get full up' I said

'And that is........' Dalvin was waiting for an answer

'I don't know, I thought you were going to choose a place' I said to him

'You the one that's hungry' he said back as he started the engine

'So are you!' I Shot back

'Alright then-' he paused 'Imma choose a spot and if you get mad, that's your problem' he said as I rolled my eyes 'I saw that!' He caught me out

'Boy focus on the road before you end up killing the both of us' I warned

The car journey was a little bit quiet with a little bit of music playing in the background. I couldn't really make out what it was so I turned it up.

'Dalvin, I didn't know you listened to songs like this' I was surprised at him singing one of Aaliyah's songs

'Yo, this is Aaliyah......this girl can sing!' Dalvin praised 'what, you think I'm like the other dudes and just listen to rap?' He laughed

'No-' I quickly said '-it was just a shock to me' I said, sinking into my seat a little bit

'You alright?' He asked

'Yeah......I'm fine, just taking in the words that Aaliyah is singing' I took a deep breath

'OMG OMG GUYS, I think I like Dalvin!' I said into the phone as Mary and Kelly were on the line

'No shit' Kelly didn't seem to surprised about it 'we know you like him......'

'Yeah but it's like a different type of like' I said

'Like what?' Mary asked as her pitch got a little higher

'I'm catching feelings........' I said

'We know th-'

'No like seriously the feelings are getting deeper......like I think I love him' I confessed, cutting Kelly off

'Man- child you ain't even know what love is to be loving up all on his chihuahua looking ass' Mary smacked her lips, joking afterwards

'Don't be fooling around with that L word, it can get you in trouble' Kelly spoke as if she had some experience

'Yeah I know but he just makes me feel so-ugh not even words can describe how I feel' I felt butterflies swirl in my stomach

'That's how he make you feel?' Mary said 'what did y'all do?'

'Nothing-' I simply said 'after work, we just went out to get something to eat and we were talking, listening to music and we.........'

'Ohhh he got my girl feenin' I could here Mary cheesing over the phone

'But what about Lucky?' Kelly reminded me

Ohh shit......

'Well I still like him' I said

'Peep the word like, not love......like' Mary said

'I don't know how the hell you can love someone and y'all ain't even in the relationship with them' Kelly sounded blunt on the line

'It's possible.......and why are you acting so blunt all of a sudden?' You knew Dalvin liked me and I liked him, now that he's confessed you want to start acting like you're not even bothered' I noticed

'I'm not acting blunt, I'm just trying to help you sort this dilemma you're in since you were the one that threw a mini tantrum about Dalvin confessing his feelings for you' she shot back 'and let's not forget, you said he better hurry up and confess his feelings to you before it's too late..........while you're entertaining Lucky on the other hand.'

'I'm not entertaining Lucky!' I Shot back 'you're only saying this because you want him'

And I know damn well that's not even true.

'I don't like people for looks Kay, I go for personality' she said

'So are you trying to imply that I only go for boys for looks' I started to get offended

'I was talking about me, not about you' Kelly corrected herself 'Remember when you took me to Kicks with you were he was working and you wanted me-'

'Alright look, we don't need a life story, trying to prove your point!' Mary sounded tired

'Aight cool then, bye' Kelly ended the phone call
