(Writer's POV)

'Yo Kelly has been up talking to DeVante for some time, have you lot seen her?' Kayla questioned as she walked up to K-Ci and Mary

'Well we told DeVante to go and talk to her' Mary said

'They're probably fucking' K-Ci said as Kayla rolled her eyes

'Nah she ain't like that' Kayla said

'Y'all seen Kelly and DeVante?' Dalvin came over and asked

'Well they are together somewhere-'

'How you know?' Dalvin Cut Mary of

'While Kelly was with me, Mya and Kim, DeVante took her aside to talk to her' Kayla said

'There are only three scenarios that could've of went on between them. They could be arguing, talking it out or Fucking' K-Ci said 'I highly think they are fucking'

'Boy Shut up with yo' sick ass' Mary back hand slapped K-Ci

'Well, I tried my best' DeVante came over as he plopped himself on the sofa

'What did she say?' Mary asked

'I tried apologising to her but like her normal self, she started asking me twenty questions and she didn't even think my apologies were sincere' DeVante explained to them 'like ion even know why she's still upset over what I said to her yesterday and other things that happened between us'

'Ohhhh, you are stupid' K-Ci busted out laughing

'What do you mean I'm stupid? No one is more stupid than you' DeVante defended himself

'No no DeVante you are stupid and everyone can agree on that' Dalvin chimed in, agreeing with K-Ci's outburst

'How though?' DeVante asked

'Have you ever thought, in that empty head of yours why Kelly is holding onto these things is because she still likes you?' Dalvin said

'No she doesn't like me, y'all tripping' DeVante didn't buy into it 'plus she would've told me'

'How can she fucking tell you when you told her straight to her face, what y'all had is done and you're not going back!' Mary said 'you even told her all the feelings she had she needs to let go of them and move on!'

'Wait De you said that to her?' Dalvin had an unreadable look on his face

'I didn't think she'll take it like that, plus I was telling how I felt' DeVante said

'Well the way you told her was shitty' Kayla said

'Look y'all know I don't like Kelly, I like Ashley and I need to focus on getting her back' DeVante said

'Hmm.....Whatever But none of us are helping you with that, not even Jo-Jo' Mary side eyed DeVante

'Did I fucking ask you?' DeVante spat

'Look talk to somebody like that somewhere else, don't be talking to Mary like that man' K-Ci defended Mary as he got up with her to go somewhere else

'I swear imma break his jaw if he doesn't shut his donkey ass up!' Mary said to K-Ci

'I know I know' K-Ci nodded his head

The nigga ain't sorry one fucking bit, I knew someone coaxed him to come and talk to me, I know his ass doesn't feel any type of remorse whatsoever.

'You look really nice' I looked around to see Nick complimenting me as he got a drink

Not going to lie, I kind of forgot about him.

'Thank you' I said

'Look Kelly-'

'You don't have nothing to apologise about Nick, you were right' I said

'Right about what?' Nick seemed unaware of what I was talking about

'Can we go somewhere to talk, like outside it's too hot in here' I fanned myself as he nodded

He took my hand as we walked through the crowd of people. I would've let go of it, but I was so unbothered at this point and I just didn't care.

'So what do you want to talk about?' Nick asked as we sat outside a swinging bench in Mary's garden

'You know the last time I spoke to you, you were telling me I didn't know what I wanted......'

'Which is true, you don't know what you want' Nick added

'Jeez' I made a face before laughing of a little bit

'Sorry' he awkwardly laughed

'Well you know, I didn't want to start pursuing things with you because I didn't want to be in a relationship with someone where I still have feelings for another person' I said

'Why couldn't you just say that to me instead?' Nick asked

'I dunno, that never came up for me to tell you' I admitted

'Well at least I know' Nick smiled at me 'um, I saw you with ol' boy, I wanted to know if you were okay, you weren't looking too happy'

'Oh DeVante........he ain't nothing' I screwed my face at the mentioning of his name

'Y'all aren't cool no more?' Nick asked

'You could say so but it's the least of my worries at the moment' I shrugged the situation off

'Look, I have this basketball game next month and I just wanted to tell you about......you know if you're able to come' Nick Said

'Why are you telling me now if it's next month, don't you want to tell me when the time comes?' I asked smiling at him

'You know.......I wanna give you enough time to think about, don't want you to leave me hanging again, Shawty'
