(Writer's POV)

'Yoooooo, What happened?' K-Ci came running to the scene that had died down a bit with Kayla, Mary, Jojo and Dalvin behind him

'Wasting nearly two fucking years to that dumbass bitch happened!' DeVante spat not making eye contact with any of them

'Who are you talking about?' Jojo asked not sure if he was referring to ASHELY or Kelly

'Fucking Ashely man' DeVante smacked his lips

'Wait did Kelly tell you what happened or-'

'Kelly-' DeVante's eyes adverted to Mary's 'What does Kelly know that I don't?' He asked

'Oh shit, he found out from someone else........' Kayla cursed quietly to Mary

'What, y'all knew?' DeVante's anger started to rise up again as his hazel eyes started to turn darker

'We're not saying-'

'Y'ALL FUCKING KNEW AND Y'ALL DIDN'T SAY SHIT!' He shouted at Mary and Kayla

'Yo, De calm down man......' K-Ci tried to calm him down

'NAH FUCK THAT!' DeVante smacked his lips, storming off, into the hallways

Kelly saw DeVante coming her way as she thought this would be the right time to ask DeVante a question since he was by himself.

'Hey, um De-'

'I TOLD YOU TO FUCKING LEAVE ME- Kelly' DeVante toned down his anger straight away as he saw a scared Kelly in front him as she took a few steps back

'Is everything alright?' She asked still feeling scared to come closer to DeVante

'Do I fucking look fine to you?' DeVante started walking about in a mini circle in distress before he stood still again 'Ashley fucking kissed ol dude......'

'Oh, um I heard about that......' Kelly decided to say, starting to feel sorry for DeVante

'Why'd you not tell me man?' DeVante felt betrayed by Kelly

DeVante thought him and Kelly getting back on track and her opening up a little more as he got her trust back would think that if Kelly knew something was happening to him and he didn't know, she would always be there like he's starting to be there for her but Kelly never returned the favour to him.

'You wouldn't have believed me nor Kim' she admitted 'you may or may not know this, but I still like you DeVante- a lot and if I was to tell you or Kim, they would've said I'm making that shit up because I don't like Ashley and Kim knows I still got feelings for you'

'I would've-'

'No you wouldn't have DeVante, you would've went and told Ashley, she would've made up a lie and you would've believed her more than me.......Ashley just tried to convince Kim that I was fooling around with her man.....well ex, I don't know, Just because I was telling him to tell Kim what happened'

'Fuck what she does, I would've believed you, I knew you still liked me.......I know you're not a person to make up shit'

'Well that's nice to hear' Kelly lightly smiled staring at the ground

'Wait, were you going to ask me something?' DeVante remembered

'Well I was going to ask you if you're able to stay behind to practice our lines after school, but because this probably isn't your day, I'll just ask you-'

'NO!' DeVante stopped her 'I'll be fine, we can go my place and practice our lines there instead' he suggested

'Are you sure.....your mom-'

'Yo stop worrying about my mom, you'll be aight'

'Kayla wait up!' Lucky called out for Kayla as she ran past him again not making any contact

This silent treatment isn't sitting well with Lucky at the moment. He feels as if he needs to be the bigger person and address the issue once and for all.

'What's going on?' Lucky asked as Kayla looked as if she was going to burst out crying

'I'm sorry Lucky- I really am' she quickly apologised 'I didn't mean to hurt you like that-'

'It's fine' he simply said 'you seem to have way more chemistry with ol boy, Dalvin' Lucky tried so hard not to sound jealous

'I'm sorry Lucky, it was one mistake I won't-'

'It wasn't no mistake Kayla' Lucky said 'I know you're feeling him, from the first day I saw you, you came with him and you too were quite a match' he chuckled

'I think it's best if I take a break with you, before I start wasting your time'

'You're not wasting my time-' Kayla said '- you've made me confident, you taught me how to love myself and I'll never forget that, you could never waste my time'

It grew silent as they stared at each other awkwardly.

'Awh I feel bad now' Kayla spoke

'You don't need too' Lucky said

'Look, I know this girl and she's really sweet and I think-'

'Shush Kay, I'll be fine I don't need a girl, the right one will come for me in due time' he silenced Kayla before he chuckled

'Well if that's what you want, I have to respect that......can I get a hug?' Kayla became shy

'Why not......' Lucky embraced himself with Kayla hugging her tightly, leaving her a kiss on her forehead
