Spending the three days together have greatly improved their familiarity. Kairos has shared some of his plans with them, and they told him a little of their past. Even though there are huge differences in their age and backgrounds, they hit it off with the young boy greatly.
The way they talked was like between old friends, though they remained respectful, "Young master, thank you for your help. If you permit, may I ask a question?"
Kairos likewise, treated them as people should be, "Hmm? Go ahead!"
"How could young master create a cultivation method on his own? Doesn't such things require numerous years of research and examinations?"
"Oh, that? The original cultivation method actually comes from this tome," Kairos pulled out his old dirty tome and patted it. When the manuscript was pulled out from his luggage, the smell of the mouldy old book immediately spread throughout the area. It wasn't a terrible smell, but distinctive and powerful.
"The more I uncover the knowledge written in this tome, the more I am convinced that this cultivation method must be the accumulative knowledge of countless generations of geniuses, or one that surpasses them all. That it teaches the origin of all energy sources in the heavens and Earth is simply incomparable to any other martial arts that I have heard of.
Compared to it, what I did was nothing special. I merely tweaked the original to suit each person."
"Even so, what young master did is incredible!" the others also nodded when they heard this.
"If one is unable to understand the true essences of the original, one would not be able to change it at all!"
"That's true! But even so, how could young master modify it for us on the spot?"
Their curiosity is relatable. Every practitioner knows that each part of a cultivation method is extremely sensitive. Any changes, no matter big or small, will require a lot of thought and careful examinations. Without an extensive understanding of cultivation methods, it will be impossible to make alterations like he did.
It is not too unlike trying to cure diseases by doing intensive research and tests, and such things are definitely not something that can be done swiftly with the snap of a finger. Yet here is a boy that could quickly alter such profound techniques on the fly.
"That's a good question, and I have been asking myself that recently.
Whenever I try to practice or when I read a person's cultivation method, information and answers will come to me immediately.
Sometimes it even felt as if these were things that I had done before, but in the end, I'm just as confused as you guys.
Regardlessly, I confident that your cultivation methods are all perfected for you in their own rights, and there should be zero side effects."
Zero side effects!
Every practitioner that most cultivation methods will have some side effects, like extremely difficult bottlenecks or easily causing a person to give in to their inner desires and demonify.
There are very few with no side effects, and all of them are top tiered.
In truth, there are less than one percent cultivation methods that are truly free from side effects, and all of them have to be near perfectly integrated with the practitioner. Or even a perfect match for the person.
The advantages of a tailor-made cultivation method are completely evident at this moment.
The fifteen looked at Kairos like he is some kind of monster that can create such an impossibility right in front of their eyes, but even Kairos himself felt strange over this matter.
