This story is about gods and goddesses that are loyal to the Elements.
The Gods go around and have children with the Goddesses, and once the child is born the mother stays with it for no more than one week. The mother decides then what element the child will control, and then they place the child somewhere in the human world until they end up at Camp Elemental. Life isn't easy for these children – there are half-animal monsters that seek certain children with certain elements.
Life had been going normal for a while, when the Goddess of Ice had a child: her first and maybe last.
