Chapter 28: A "date" with Lida!?

Goooooooooooood!!!

I smile as I ate most of it hole. Then I turn to a smiling Lida who just eats his respectfully. I turn around in circles inspecting the mall as I see all the different people and what not.

Then one person came by us, he had a dark blue hood on along with black pants as I couldn't really see his face however he came up to us and Lida instantly got protective.

"Yes sir do you need anything?" He says while standing up out of his chair and stood in front of the small table we sat at. He crossed his arms while standing in my vision. I roll my eyes and stood up, then putting my now shrinking hands on lidas shoulders as I pushed myself onto his shoulder with ease while in my now demon cat form. As I sat on his shoulder looking badass might I say, the guy finally looks up to go a little eye wide at seeing what I can do. However as he does that we can see his face.

Let me say this once, he had a lot of stitches.

"That's some quirk you got there." He says as he stares at Lida now who I can tell is getting tense.

"I'll say this again sir do you need anything?" Lida says as I use my tail and rap it around the back of lidas neck trying to calm him down.

"I just wanted to say I saw you two at the sports festival, I came over to say good job." He then nods along with Lida as the man left. I shake my head while laughing to myself as I can already sense the kids who want to come and pet me.

Lida just sighs and sits down and started petting me with one hand while he continued his pretzel with his other hand. I hop off his shoulders and sit down on the table waiting for him. However kids these days had other plans. A literal fucking 6 year old ran up to our table, grabbed me, and ran away from the supposedly hero with an FUCKING SPEED QUIRK...

I just kinda gave up on life as I was limp in the boys arms while he hugged me to death while running away from the supposedly hero in training.

Fuck you too Lida...

Well at least he was "trying" to chase the kid, however as the kid now started crying when Lida finally caught up to us, the public then tried to help...

In the wrong way...

They pushed Lida away while the kid made a run for it with me still in his arms. Ya I was still alive for some reason when he made it out of the mall.

I was curious on where he was taking me until he took me into a dark alley...

Ok that's enough of this shit.

I then growled at the boy as he finally puts me down. I then transform into my normal self as the kid stares at me wide eyed.

"Hey kid next time don't kidnap what's not yours alright?" You said while looking around the alley.

"Hey why out here? Where's your mother?" I say bending down towards the kid as I make sure my ears are out and fully alert as I look at the standing kid with wide eyes at me.

"H-Hi Ki-Itty!" He said as he smiled then started petting my ears.

Ok I admit, I kinda like it.

I sat down so he can reach my ears as he started petting them. I smiled while still being somewhat alert.

Although curiosity killed the cat-

Satisfaction brought it back-

"Hey kid what's your name?" I say while he's behind me braiding my hair now.

"Ace, momma calls me Ace." I smile getting an answer out of him while I continue to hug my tail for he won't step on it.

"Care to say where your momma is?"

He didn't answer me for a while as he stopped braiding my hair. I turn to look at him as he looks a little pale.

"Hey kid are you alright?" I say while I heard a branch getting snapped I quickly took the boy in my arms and turn 360 degrees trying to pin point where it came from.

Then suddenly I hear a voice, I couldn't tell what the voice was saying as I look down towards the boy as he started disappearing. I let go of him as he vanished.

Fuck this shit I'm out-

I started to transform into my raven as I took to the sky's. I didn't see the boy or anyone else for that matter but I didn't see a dust cloud ravaging through the streets. I took that as a sign that Lida's looking for me as I quickly catch up to him and land on his head. He stopped running for a second. And just looked up at the bird sitting on his head. The moment he saw the red eyes color immediately went back on his face as I hopped down from his head and transformed back.

"For a fucking SPEED hero you didn't FUCKING keep up with the boy PARTNER~" I say while crossing my arms. Lida notices the braid but doesn't say anything.

To him, he thought he lost his pencil right before a huge test as he was panicking looking for the darn thing only to find it 5 seconds later in your fucking hand.

Ya that was the emotions he was going through.

"Damn it, sorry Agatha." I smiled and punched him in the face.

He landed on the ground.

A few tears threAtened to spill.

"Ah that felt good, now we're even!" I say while I started to walk away.

"W-Wait!" He runs to catch up to me.

"Where are you going?" I thought about my answer.

To hell-

Fucking paradise -

To neverland-

Home-

Bed-

Floor-

Woods-

"Back to the agency, want to get some shut eye." Was my answer as we started walking back.

"Thank you." Was all I said as we stepped through the front doors.

"For what?"

"For caring enough to come find me." Was my answer as we made it up the stupid stairs into our room. I simply changed into my wolf form and went to sleep curled up by the side of the bed while I had my eyes closed when Lida changed. I felt the movement in the bed as he went in.

I give out a big sigh before drifting off to sleep.

However I didn't know what was going to occur during my sleep, nor did I know what dangers lie ahead.

All I knew was the there was a heater in the room, a roof, and a wanna be hero in the room while I slept.

That's good enough for me.
