I had tried to walk away when Zak grabbed my arm.
"Please don't go anywhere I'm sorry" he said genuinely.
"Who do you think that makes me feel when you lie about something important like that" I said my voice cracking as the tear rolled down my cheek.
He stood there speechless.
"Tell me what he said" I said.
He stood there and explained what he said.
That asshole tried to get sympathy.
"That cant be true, my father would never do that he said he kicked him out the day I left, either he's lying or telling the truth."
I was angry and sad
I didn't know who to trust anymore.
My wedding is in two weeks and all of this is going on.
When will everything just stop, I want everything to stop.
I sat there and hugged Zak and I could tell he was surprised.
I took him a second to hug back.
"Please help me" I said to him.
"I don't want to live like this" I said again.
He hugged me tighter.
"You want me to kick his ass?" Zak said making me laugh.
"As much as I would like that I don't want to be in jail with twins" I laughed it off.
"It will be ok" he said kissing my forehead.
"He won't hurt us" he said again.
I wave of relief just hit me and I felt comfortable.
He took a breath before breaking the hug.
He tried to walk away.
"Wait" I said grabbing his arm making him stop in his tracks.
"I want another hug" I said holding my arms out. He cracked a light smile before walking towards me and going me another hug.
I felt an unusual feeling in my stomach.
"Did you feel that" I asked Zak.
"What?" He asked.
I pulled away from the hug and place his hand on my belly.
"The first kick" I mumbled.
It happened again but it was less of a kick and more of the twins adjusting themselves.
"What the-" Zak said looking at me.
I looked at my belly and looked back up at him as my jaw dropped.

"DID YOU FEEL THAT?" I said excited.
He looked up at me in shock.
I know now I had been pregnant for a while but this was the first time feeling any movement which excited me.
Zak was in total gaze and wouldn't leave.
