Searching the lab

"We shall go to the lab today," said Nina. "It's kinda near. I've been to that place before."
"It's a good thing it's not the lab that I destroyed," said Steve. "If it was, I'd regret my life!"
Just then, Shasha received a phone call. Her ringtone was Snow Castle.
"You seriously made that your ringtone?" asked Nina. "But I don't blame you though, I love that song too."
Shasha answered the call. It was Ella.
"Hello Shasha," said Ella. "When do you wanna go and find out about Bryan? Wanna go today?"
"I'm busy," said Shasha. "We can go together on Monday, after school."
"Well okay then," said Ella. "We're gonna see the scientist that made him into a cyborg right?"
"No not him," said Shasha. "I've seen him already. He gave us lots of info. We'll see someone else."
"Okay but who?" asked Ella.
"I'll tell you later," said Shasha and hung up after saying bye.
"What's up with this girl?" thought Ella after Shasha hung up. "Oh well she must be very busy."
"Was that your friend?" asked Nina and Shasha nodded. "She wants to meet Dr Bosconovitch, Huh..."
"Yeah," said Shasha. "But I think I'll bring her to meet Officer Lei instead. He knows a lot about Bryan too right?"
"Yes he does," said Steve. "He's the one who caught him in that Hong Kong drug trade."
"So he's our guy then," said Shasha. "It's easier to go meet him instead of Dr Bosconovitch."
"Yeah especially since your friend might get suspicious," said Anna. "Because she might think you're an undercover detective if you go meet Dr Bosconovitch and she finds out that he already knows you..."
They set off in Nina's the car to go to the lab. Only Mishima Zaibatsu employees were allowed to enter because the door can only be unlocked with a Mishima Zaibatsu access card which almost all of them had. They entered and it was empty. There were computers there and many file cabinets. They started searching it and found some clues. Shasha searched the files with Katarina while Nina searched with Anna in the database and Steve searched with Adam in the lab computers. Shasha and Katarina found a file called Gerá. It had a picture of an earlier version of Gigas.
"That's Dad!" said Katarina. "He isn't as mutated as he was but he's still mutated in this photo."
"Let's go and ask the others," said Shasha. "Maybe they can find something in the database."
They went to Nina and Anna who were searching in one of the computers.
"Hey Nina," said Shasha. "Found anything yet?"
"Not really," said Nina. "What about you?"
"We found a file," said Shasha. "It's an earlier version of Gigas. He wasn't fully mutated."
"Gimme that file," said Anna and Shasha passed it to her. "So they first named him Gerá Huh."
"Yeah it appears so," said Katarina. "It's disrespectful how my father was passed around like an experiment..."
Nina searched Gerá on the computer and got some info.
"Ah here we go," said Nina. "He was initially supposed to be a cyborg like Bryan."
"Oh no!" exclaimed Katarina. "I can't imagine my father as an evil cyborg!"
She started sobbing after saying that. Shasha comforted her.
"It's okay Katarina," said Shasha. "They didn't do anything like that."
"Then Abel started a new project which was a genetic mutation project," said Nina. "Since Mr Alves is physically very big, they decided to add various DNA into him."
"Then how did he end up under the Russian permafrost?" asked Shasha. "Like that bit doesn't make any sense."
"It does now," said Anna. "Listen to this. 'After the death of Dr Abel, Bryan received technological upgrades with the help of Dr Bosconovitch. After gaining consciousness, it appears that he stole project Gerá and set off to an unknown place.' So looks like he took him to Russia and buried him under the cold soil."
"So basically he took the mutated Mr Alves and put him under the Russian permafrost," said Nina. "He didn't like how Abel actually paid more attention to that experiment and not himself."
"Such selfish arrogance," said Katarina. "And throughout all that, my father was the guinea pig. How cruel!"
"Dr Abel is nothing but cruel," said Anna. "He even wanted to shoot poor little Jane just because he wanted to destroy Jack and kill Jane."
"That's so cruel!" said Katarina. "Thank god he didn't kill Jane. She's such a nice and talented girl."
"Yeah she is," said Anna. "Very kind and hard working."
"Yes and she saw kindness in Jack," said Nina. "After he saved her from that laser beam that destroyed him."
"So that means case closed?" said Shasha. "Like we know what happened to him."
"Yes but I want revenge," said Katarina. "I want to avenge my father! He could have been killed if that experiment went wrong! And none of this was even to his consent."
"I agree with you," said Nina. "We'll plan in my place. Let's copy all the information that we need into thisthumb drive."
They copied the info and decided to go back to Nina's mansion.
"Let's go and tell the boys that we've found everything," said Nina. "Bet they're still cracking their heads on how to find info about the mutation."
They found the guys still searching in the lab computers. They found nothing about it since they don't know what to look for.
"Yo come on," said Nina. "We've found everything that we need."
"What?!" said both of them in unison.
"But how?" asked Adam. "Me and Steve have been searching for so long and it all led to no where..."
"That's because we found a file about the earlier version of Gigas," said Shasha. "So we actually knew what to look for."
"That's not fair!" said Steve. "We have been wasting our time."
"Indeed you were," said Nina. "I noticed that you were actually looking at memes."
"Uh oh she caught us," said Adam to Steve. Then both of them started pointing to each other while saying: "It was his idea!"
"I know it was both of your ideas," said Nina. "Whatever, come on let's get going."
They left the lab and went home. They prepared a meal and went off to the planning room in Nina's basement.
