"What kinda name is this?" said Bob to himself. "Bello Dingdong?" Is that even a name?"
He even did a quiz that would say what name suits him the most.
"Oh what a revelation," said Bob. "The name that suits me the most is Bob? Yeah like I didn't know that already..."
He did the quiz again, he slightly altered the answers and got Robert this time.
"Does this website know who am I or something?" asked Bob, surprised. "Or is it because my real name suits me best?"
So he just started searching out some names that start with R because he wanted his fake name to still start with an R.
"Ruben, Rudey, Ruler," Bob read down a list of names starting with R. "Wait what? Who names their son Ruler? Ryan? This name sounds good. Now to think up a last name."
So he decided to just choose a simple last name. He chose his fake last name to be Lewis.
"So my fake identity is Ryan Lewis," said Bob to himself in the mirror. "Nice to meet you, Mr Lewis. Why am I so lame?"
He liked that name and stuck to it. He imagined the name being printed out in bold letters on an identification card with his photo next to it. Adam was thinking the same thing too. He was thinking how his fake name would now be Dean Earwicker. He liked that name because he felt like it kinda suited him even if it's not his real name. Shasha was thinking about something. On Friday she followed the others to go confront Bryan. She was with them. She wondered what Bryan was gonna say. She decided that she would pull him aside and apologise, without the knowledge of Ella, because she didn't want Ella to know about their secret mission. She knew that it would come out one day, but decided to hide it as long as she can. The next day they went to work while Shasha went to her detective training school. Bob came to the Mishima Zaibatsu to have his photo taken for the fake ID card. They all went to Jin's office first to receive permission.
"Who are you actually?" asked Jin, seeing Bob. He didn't recognise Bob. "I feel like I've met you before..."
"So you don't recognise me?" said Bob. "That's great, now I know my appearance changed drastically!"
Jin leaned over to Nina.
"Who is he anyway?" he asked Nina in a low voice and she started laughing. "Was he in one of the past tournaments?"
"Yes he was," said Nina. "This is Bob Richards."
"Oh so you finally lost weight?" asked Jin. "You actually hated to lose weight before this, didn't you? Seriously people would want to lose weight and not the direct opposite..."
"I had no choice," said Bob. "My identity as a costumed vigilante was revealed... so I had to change my looks..."
So they went to the photography floor, which is the 50th floor. They entered the photography room and Adam and Bob took passport size photos. Anna badly wanted to have her photo taken too, but Nina didn't let her. But she somehow managed to sneak into the photography room and have her photo taken, without Nina's knowledge. And when the photos were complete and were given to them in an envelope, Nina was shocked to find a grinning picture of Anna in there too.
"Anna, what is this?" asked Nina, showing the photo to Anna. "I told you not to go in there..."
"Yeah but I wanted to have my photo taken by a professional photographer," said Anna, grinning. "Good luck, trying to stop me!"
Nina was about to tear Anna's photo but Anna grabbed it quickly and childishly taunted Nina.
"Sorry but that's mine," said Anna. "I'm gonna frame this."
So the fake identity cards was prepared and given to their owners.
"So when do we go for that interview?" asked Bob. "Tomorrow?"
"Yeah sure, I guess..." said Adam. "But will we make it in?"
"That depends," said Nina. "Even if you don't, just try and get as much info as you can."
"I'll go dig while you suck up to the boss," said Adam to Bob. "You're a smooth talker, you can handle it."
"Yeah okay," said Bob. "Seems easy enough."
Meanwhile at the detective school...
Shasha was waiting for Bryan. She finally saw him and cornered him.
"Bryan, please don't tell Ella about what happened on Friday," said Shasha. "She doesn't know that I have a secret mission with Nina and the gang."
"So she doesn't know you work for Nina?" asked Bryan and Shasha nodded. "I won't tell anything as long as you don't pull me into any other fights like that."
"Yeah it won't happen again," said Shasha.
So they agreed that they won't say anything about it to Ella. The class went on as usual and the assignment was getting on nicely.
"We're lucky that the criminal we got is in our group," said Shasha when Bryan wasn't there. "Like it's so much easier to get info about him by just asking him...."
"I feel like we're cheating," said Ella. "But we're not so I guess it's okay."
The school was over and they went back to their homes. Shasha made some chicken pasta. The others arrived and Katarina wasn't with them.
"Whatever happened to Katarina?" asked Shasha while putting the dishes on the dining table. "Gone shopping again?"
"I have no idea," said Steve. "She left with Bob to go somewhere. Don't know where...."
"I think we should leave her with no lunch," said Anna and everyone looked at her in surprise. "No no it's because she might actually have lunch with Bob on the way back."
"Oh okay then," said Nina, relieved. "I thought you were evil enough to make her starve."
"What?" said Anna. "Nina, you think I'm as cruel as you are?"
They started bickering about how evil they are to each other. They even started to get physical that Shasha and Steve had to pull them off each other.
"Why do you two just love fighting?" asked Adam, who was just standing there laughing at the scene in front of him. "Like the minute I first saw you, you were both fighting..."
"I don't know," said Nina. "It's just so fun to mock Anna."
"And it's so fun to see Nina's annoyed face," said Anna. "It's not like we hate each other, it's just that we are like a cat and a mouse."
"Like Tom and Jerry," said Shasha, still trying to pull Anna away from Nina. "Seriously you even like the opposite characters in Tom and Jerry."
"Yeah why do you like Jerry anyway?" asked Nina. "Tom's the main character."
"Yeah there's a reason why they named the series as Tom and Jerry and not Tom and Tom," said Anna. "Jerry is the main character too."
"Good point," said Nina. "But then again, I read somewhere that Tom and Jerry are actually just best friends who like messing with each other."
"Then I guess it's true then," said Anna. "Because that's how we are."
"Yay," said Shasha. "Now come and eat. Now why do I sound like a mom now?"
