In the evening all gathered in the living room again with boys and dadu dadi too this time.
Kiran: Nyo invitations toh dediye the na sare.. like close relatives har saal jaise?
Nyo: Ha maa and unka confirmation bhi aa gaya.. bas 6.30 tak aa jayenge!
Kiran nodded and looked at the boys!
Abhi: *winking* Don't worry sexy, sari prep ho gayi hai!
Kiran: *slapping his cheek lightly* Badmash!
He chuckled whereas all smiled. Nandini was again and again looking at her phone. She tried to call him but it went on voicemail saying he is in a meeting so call him later. Nowl she is waiting for his call but it still didn't came neither did his message making her check her phone again and again. Cabir's hawk eyes saw this and smirked.
Cabir: Piddi.... bohot bhukh lagi hai kya?
Nandini: *frowning* Nahi toh bhai.. aap aisa kyu puch rahe ho?
Cabir: Nahi woh tum baar baar phone dekh rahi thi toh.. You know tum jiska bhi wait kar rahi ho wo time baar baar dekhne se nahi ayega!
Dhruv: What do you mean Cabir?
Cabir: *smirking looking at Nandu who was looking here there and emphasising on the word 'Manik'* Kuch nahi MANIK ke buddy, I meant chand!
Mukti: Ha choti even I saw.. is everything okay? You okay?
The elders smiled while Navbhi smirked too.
Nandini: *nervously* Umm bh..bhabhi woh mai.. mai toh bas meri fri..friend ha friend ke message ka wait kar rahi thi actually I invited her too!
Neha: *frowning* Teri aisi konsi friend hai which we dont know about? *pointing at Navya and herself*
Nandini: Hai.. hai na woh last time mai India ayi toh tu nahi thi so you dont know, Navya ko pata hai haina Navya?
She looked at Navya with a puppy face while she made a 'you owe me' face!
Navya: Ha Nehu I know about her friend!
Neha: Ok make me meet too! This is not fair tum dono kuch batate hi nahi aaj kal.. I have missed so much!
Nandini: *smirking* Well Mrs Khanna then you should leave this idiot and spend some time with us too!
Arya: *throwing a pillow at her* Sali... mere romance pe kyu laat maar rahi hai...
Nandini ducked it and it hit Ishita who glared at Arya and Nandini making a 'grow up' face.
Neha: *nudging* Arya shut up, sab bade hai yaha!
All laughed including elders seeing Neha blushing.
Voice: We are back!
They all turned to door whereas first head that snapped to the door was Nandini but alas it was not him. She still smiled, ran and hugged both Raman and Raj who were standing at the door.
Ishita: *chuckling* Nyo dekho inhe, we are back toh aise bolrahe hai jaise mahino baad aye ho..
Both made a bad face and Nyo and Ishita high fives laughing at their faces. They were glaring at ladies when Dadu spoke.
