Scott's P.O.V

After everything happened, I was walking home and I kept thinking about Skye. I couldn't believe what happen but I keep on going over and over it in my head. I should've waited for Skye and protected her. I could've protected her. I could have saved her... I should have saved her.

I walked into my house with Isaac and I sat in the chair at the kitchen table. Isaac stood there watching me but didn't say anything until he went back into his room.  I just sit there staring at nothing and thinking only about her. How can I live without her, I thought. She was everything.

I started thinking about how I'm never going to see her again. Never see her smile or her laugh. I'll never kiss her or hold her. I'll never hear her heartbeat again. We were supposed to have a future together. She was supposed to have a future.

She was supposed to have a future

I didn't hear my mom walk in but she did and tapped my shoulder.

"Hey," my mom said getting my attention.

"What?" I said.

"I said that you didn't call me. Did you find Lydia? Is she okay?" my mom asked me and I didn't know what to say. Both of her best friends died tonight.

"She's... she's home but..." I started to say with tears filling my eyes.

"Scott, what's wrong?" she asked pulling out the chair beside me and sitting down.

"Is it Skye? Where is she?" my mom said and I had forgotten that I called her before I took Skye and Stiles to see their dad at the Sheriff's office.

"Skye's... She's... God, I can't even say it," I said letting out a sob. I started to cry and my mom put her hands on my shoulder.

"Say what, Scott. You're scaring me," my mom said.

"She's gone. They killed her... and Allison," I struggled to say. She wrapped her arms around my shoulder and I started to cry into her. I felt her start to cry too.

I felt her start to cry too
