Happy valentines day!

This is spideypool high school au, I hope you like!!! This is going to be short, so sorry

Peter's POV

I lean against my locker, looking down nervously at the school books in my hand. 

Wade, my boyfriend for two months, promised to meet me here. It's Valentine's Day, the first one we got to spend together as boyfriends. 

But he's late. By twenty minutes. Normally Wade is at least five minutes late, but never more than ten. I'm going to be late for my sixth period. This is cutting into my free period, and I have a test next. 

I pull out my phone, checking the time. The bell will ring in three minutes. 

"Wade." I breathe. "Where are you." 

The bell rings and I push myself off the wall, and look around mournfully, before walking to my next class. 

Worst. Valentine's. Ever. 

Wade's POV

Crap crap crap crap.

I'm late. 

I was picking out flowers and chocolate because Peter loves being cliche, but he doesn't like to admit it. 

Then, because my luck was already terrible, there was traffic and I was late for sixth period to top it all off. 

Pete's not answering my texts and I feel awful. 

The bell rings, signaling the end of school. Peter and I agreed to meet outside, by my car, and Peter would take me on a surprise date, but I don't know if that is still on. 

I'm a terrible date. 

Peter's POV

I'm not answering any of Wade's texts. He should have been there. I looked like an idiot, standing there, by myself, for twenty minutes. 

Twenty. 

Freaking. 

Minutes. 

It's bullshit. 

MJ and Ned both told me that this was a terrible idea, but I'd been crushing on Wade since we met in seventh grade, and then he asked me out, and I just... I couldn't. 

But then he didn't show. I didn't even see him in seventh, he probably ditched. 

And forgot.

I should have listened to my friends. Wade's no good. 

I guess that's it then. 

Wade's POV

I'm outside, by the front. I didn't go to seventh. Pete wasn't answering me, and I just... I chickened out. 

But now I'm outside, holding the flowers and chocolate, but Peter's not here. 

I look like an idiot, but I'll wait. Peter will come out the front eventually, and I'll apologize, and I'll grovel, anything, because Peter...

Well...

I love him.

And I'll do anything to get him back.

If you're lucky you might get an update tomorrow, so cross your fingers. 

I hope you all had an amazing Valentine's Day. 

Tomorrow is single's day, so I'm heading to the discount candy section and stocking up ;P
