Quirk Description:
I thought of giving it name of technopathy, but since the quirk user cannot interact with all of the technology available changed the name before publishing. The quirk allows the user to read, record & show anything on any HDD.
Abilities:
- Can read, record or show any data on HDD.
- If used for good, can scan all of the confiscated material from criminals to aid the police in finding criminal data.
- If used for bad, can scan all the secret data on HDD to get blueprints, acquire bank balance details, steal server data, etc.
- The user can also copy-paste data from one place to another, provided that the other disk has enough space.
- More speed with SSDs than HDDs.
- User can wipe out data from disks, although it takes some time.
- By straining the quirk power, user can access deleted files within past 24 hours. Though it makes the user pass out.
Drawbacks:
- After 6 hours all the accumulated data will be wiped away from the memory.
- The more older technology the faster the user can read such as CD or DVD disks take more time to read while a hard disk drive takes lesser time to read.
- It takes more time to scan password protected or virus infected disks.
- Reading a virus infected disc can cause fever, cold symptoms for the user.
- Quirk has no offensive capabilities.
