Chapter XIX Charity's pov:
As my eyes fluttered open, still sensitive the the brightness of the sun, Johnny's skin moved against mine as i see his arm wrapped around me. I smiled. He looked so peaceful and calm when he slept. Still smiling, i moved the bangs that covered one side of his face a little, exposing this other eye. He looked like an angel, really. The way the sun gave his dark skin tone a perfect smooth look and shine to it. I wish we could stay like this forever. Close to each other, both so peaceful. But, he had to get to school sadly, meaning i couldn't see him all day.
I admit, to no surprise, I like Johnny Cade.
