“He’ll come around, just give him time.” Niall said.

“I don’t know, you should’ve seen him. “I replied, shaking my head.

“What exactly happened? “He asked.

“He accused me of calling Taylor a bitch, but I was actually calling the interviewer a bitch.”I said, looking down at my lap.

“Okay.” He said, nodding his head.

“I don’t even know what I did”. I said, taking a deep sigh.

“Look, Harry may seem like a player but when he dates a girl, she becomes his main priority. And Taylor used to be his main priority until they broke up.” Niall said.

“Okay, but that still doesn’t explain why he lashed out on me.” I said.

“He loved her.”

“Loved her?”

“Yeah.I don’t know if he still does, but he doesn’t like it when people talk bad about people that he loves.”

“So Harry still loves her?”

“I don’t know, but it seems to me that he still has feelings towards her.”

“Does she still like him?”

“No, she was the one that broke it off with him, though no one knows why, well apart from Harry of course. “He said.

“Oh.”

“Look, just don’t worry about it.”Niall said.

“How am I supposed to forget about it? “I asked.

“I shouldn’t have said anything,”Niall said, looking disappointed in himself.

“Don’t be too hard on yourself. “I said.

“I just wish that things were different.”Niall said, taking my hand in his.

“In what way? “I asked.

“I wish that you didn’t have to fake date Harry. I wish you were dating me instead of him.”

“Niall you’re a really nice guy .Any girl would be lucky to have you. “I said, giving him a small smile.

“But I want you though. “He said, placing a gentle kiss on top of my hand.

“No you don’t. I’m a mess. “I said, shaking my head.

“That’s what I love most about you. You’re you, you’re not acting. “He said.

“I have to go. “I said, “I’m sorry. “I added before I ran out of the café onto the streets.

“Rory wait. “I heard Niall calling my name, but I just kept running. I needed out. I wanted out. I want to go back home.

I took my phone out of my bag before I dialled Allie’s number.

“Hi Rory. “She said.

“I want to go back home. “I said, making my way down the streets.

“Why?”

“I don’t want to do this anymore. “I said, shaking my head.

“Rory think about this for a second. “She said.

“I have. I want to go home. I don’t belong here.”I said.

“Are you sure you want to do this? “She asked, trying to talk me out of it.

“I want my mum. “I said, walking into the lobby.

“Rory what has brought this on?”

“I can’t take it anymore. I don’t want to do this stupid dating thing anymore. “I said, making my way into the lift.
