"YOU'RE going to what?"
I stared open-mouthed at Fred and George. The two of them looked excited — hyperactive, even — as they waited for my comment.
"We're going to—"
"Yes, yes, I know what you said," I huffed, interrupting George, "but are you out of your minds!"
If possible, they looked even more frenzied than just a few minutes ago. They nodded enthusiastically in unison, their heads shaking so fast I took a step back warily. I was afraid that if they shake it in a much faster pace it would pop right out of their shoulders.
"I think the term brilliant is more fitting," Fred piped up.
"Or even spectacular, if you will," George added.
"But mostly, explosive," they concluded simultaneously, looking at each other with successful grins it looked like they just solved the cure for Dragon Pox.
My left eye twitched, still staring at them with my jaw dropped to the ground and wondering how they're going to manage to pull of such a task.
Then I frowned. "What happens if your mum finds out?"
Fred waved his hand dismissively. "We'll figure that out later."
"But—"
"Don't worry, little Margo," he stressed, placing both hands on my shoulders. "Georgie and I got this, don't we?"
George nodded enthusiastically again, shooting me a bright grin and two thumbs up.
I pursed my lips, studying the two of them properly.
My entire life I have watched them pull the most elaborate pranks, even letting me join on a couple. It was during those times where Fred and George always looked the happiest; more lively and free, especially when the two of them were together.
Slowly, a sad smile appeared on my lips. "I'm going to miss you two."
George chuckled and ruffled my hair, pulling me in for a hug. Fred joined as well, the two of them rocking me back and forth. I laughed and lightly slapped their biceps playfully.
"You're still going to see us," said Fred, "during the holidays and stuff."
"I know. It's just going to feel different here in Hogwarts." I pulled away and smirked. "Besides, who's going to be pulling the pranks now that you both are gone?"
