Chapter 43.

As I tell Caleb everything that happened and everything Harrison told me, he just sits there with a shocked face looking towards the floor. I take a shot and nod "and that is why Melissa ran out because she didn't let me explain." Caleb takes a shot and smiles "so Harrison doesn't remember anything?" I shake my head and look towards the floor "he was possessed and had no control over what the black demon wolf done." He looks at the bar and smiles "I don't even know what to say." I smile and lean back "I know it's a lot to take in and believe but I really do feel like he is telling the truth?" Caleb rubs my arm and smiles "do you really believe that or do you just want to believe that because he looks like Ethan?" I take a deep breath and shrug "both maybe?" He smiles softly and grabs my jacket "lets get out of here." I laugh nervously and shake my head "you should head back and check on Melissa." I take my jacket from him and nod "I should get a hotel and let Melissa calm down." He scoffs and shakes his head "I'm not leaving you?" I roll my eyes and stand-up "I have been alone before and been ok. You can even come check in on me tomorrow if it makes you sleep better but I really think you should go back and check on Melissa." He nods and grabs his jacket "well at least let me wait for you to check into a hotel safely?" I nod and smile "ok, fine."

We walk into the hotel and towards the check in desk "room for 2?" I smile nervously and shake my head "just one." The women behind the desk nods "ok and how long for?" I take a deep breath and shrug "I'm not sure yet so just charge me by the night?" Caleb rolls his eyes and smirks "till Monday." The receptionist nods "2 nights it is." She hands me a card key and smiles "2nd floor." I take it and nod "thank you." I walk towards the lift and press the button "so what happens Monday?" He smirks and looks towards the floor "we go home." I raise my eyebrow and scoff "what?" He nods and smiles "I will come back tomorrow." He hugs me and waves as he walks towards the door "night." I smirk and wave "night!"

I get into the hotel room and place my jacket on the chair and lay on the bed "what a day." I take a deep breath and take my shoes off. As I close my eyes I hear a knock on the door "don't tell me Caleb is back already." I roll my eyes and stand up "yes?" I open the door and grin "hey." I raise my eyebrows as I look at Harrison at the door holding a bag "I come with gifts?" I scoff and shake my head "for what?" I open the room door and let him in "I overheard the way your friend was and then heard about you staying in a hotel room so I got you a few things?" I open the bag and see a pair of pjs and a pretty pink dress "you didn't have too." He shrugs and sits on the bed "I know but it is my fault that you are here." I smile nervously and place the dress on the chair "I'm just going to get changed." He nods and smiles "ok." I walk towards the bathroom closing the door behind me.

I look in the mirror and take a deep breath 'what is wrong with me? This boy killed Ethan.' I nod and take another deep breath 'just breath.' I get changed and head back out into the room placing my clothes in the bag "thank you." He smiles and shrugs "just glad they fit." I sit on the bed and smile "I should go." He stands up and nods "bye." He walks towards the door and I huff and nod "ok." As he opens the door and laugh nervously "why not stay?" My face is shocked as the words come out my mouth "what?" I laugh nervously and shrug "tell me more about what happened?" He smiles softly and nods "are you sure? I thought you would never want to see me again?" I smile softly and tap the bed "I know it wasn't you that done all those horrible things." He closes the door and nods "ok, I will stay."

The next few hours we sit and talk about his old life, before all this happened to him. As I sat and listened too it I couldn't help but feel sorry for him. He was wrongly accused of a crime he didn't do and my family was responsible for making him this evil beast. He asks about Ethan and how I got to where I was and after talking for more hours I didn't realise the sun had come up "I should go." I smile nervously and shake my head "where are you going to go?" He shrugs and stands up "back to my cottage I guess." I look around the hotel room and shrug "I have a chair?" He smiles and walks towards the door "I really shouldn't." He opens it and nods "I have wasted enough of your time and caused so much damage already." I sigh and nod firmly "I understand." I walk towards him and hold onto the door handle "bye." He waves and smiles "goodbye Misty." The way he said my name sent shivers down my back and what came next I don't know what came over me as the next thing I know I'm grabbing him and my lips are touching his and we are both on the bed taking our clothes off.
