'let the storms fall because everyday with you is a rainbow already'

"Draco did you write to your father about what happened to your arm?" I ask as I try to finish my charms essay. It wasn't due for weeks but I felt the need to do it now as I didn't want it to bother me during a Hogsmeade visit.

"Yeah he said he'll handle it. Is that charms? That's not due for like two weeks, Dianna." He says as he pulls on a face that judges me. I roll my eyes as I throw the crumpled peice of paper in front of me on his face. He catches this with his hand and smirks at me. I felt my face flush as I swiftly divert my attention to my charms essay.

"Hmm, did I just catch Diannara Sierra—"

"How dare you." I gasp as I glare at him.

"—Slytherin blush? What a sight!" He beams and I pinch his arm making him whimper.

"Gosh, Dianna for such a small girl—".

"I am not small! You're a little girl!" I point at him accusingly. He holds my finger, moving it away from his face as his face comes closer to mine. I move away but my head hits the chair next to me. I wince, my other hand rubbing it.

"You okay—"

"What are you guys doing?" Blaise asks cutting Draco off. The blonde boy rolls his eyes as he moves away.

"What can a boy do to finish his words here?" He mutters angrily and I laugh turning to Blaise who stood there confused.

"None of your bloody business, Zabini. Now what do you want?" I ask as I continue my essay.

"I just want to ask if I could take someone with us to Hogsmeade?" He asks sweetly and I threw him a look.

"Badger?"

"No—"

"Snake?"

"No it's a—"

"Birdy?"

"Salazar—

"Nope not happening." I said nonchalantly as I continue my essay. After what happened in DADA, Gryffindors used it to make fun of me. And I had it in my personal agenda to hex any  Gryffindor in sight to oblivion.

"What?! Dianna." Blaise whines and I gave him a withering glare. He shrinks and Draco reentered the room with an apple in his hand.

"She's determined to give them a nose bleed any time of the day, mate. Don't let any Gryffindork near her." He says, then proceeded to savouring his apple.

"Oh come on, era. She's nice! Please I swear if she does something I'd personally take care of it." He says as he puts a hand in his chest. I glare at him intently and both him and Draco wait fearfully for my answer.

"Fine." I huff bitterly as I roll the parchment. He cheers, dancing like a monkey as he gets out of the common room. I couldn't help but smile as I gather my things.

"Hey let's go to the Great Hall? But before that let's take a little detour." He says and I raise a brow at him.

"Where?"

"You'll find out when we get there." He says as he pulls me along with him. We head out of the dungeons and he takes lead of where to go. We turned here and there until I realize he was taking me to the astronomy tower. I couldn't help but smile as we stared at the stars above us.

"That one there is the great bear." He points and I nod, listening though I already knew. He kept going on until he stops as he points at something. I look up at him, my sight blessed with his jawline and handsome side profile.

"Draco." I said and he looks at me, thinkinh that I called his name.

"That's Draco." I said and his lips form a smile. I turn my gaze back afront as I stared at the view of the castle grounds. I sigh, contentedly as I lean my head on Draco's shoulder. My smile widens as I realized that it always seemed comfortable, like it fit to be there.

"You know how I feel about you, Dianna." Draco says and my smile falls a little as I look down. I hum  letting him know that I agree.

"How about you? What do you feel about me?" He asks and I pull away from him, afraid he'd hear the storm in my heart.

"I...you make me feel everything I've ever wanted. Everything impossible for me to feel? I feel it whenever I'm with you." I said truthfully as it slipped from my tongue smoothly.

"Am I the only one?"

"Yes."

...

I watch Blaise's face boredly, finding it more  interesting than the story he thought was funny. Blaise had a tendency to see amusement in the simplest of things. Many girls find these...endearing. But for me, I find it foolish. I always believed that if you were happy it had to be something worth it. Not some silly prank he's done on Mr. Filch. For people like me, happiness is impossible. If I find amusement that is either because I have proven myself that I am best or that I have eliminated the best.

That seems to be my only goal now as I planned multiple ways to hurt another Gryffindor who calls me out for having such deep fear. It was getting on my last nerves and if only I had been a little more reckless—I could have punched someone's eye out. I hated being seen as a vulnerable person. It disgusted me, weakness.

"Ow—watch it you peice of dung." Draco seethes at a Gryffindor who bumped onto him. This made me look at him, my attention finally had been caught. Just minutes ago it would have dug itself a hole and hid there after listening to Blaise's boring story.

Draco sits next to me, giving me a smirk. I roll my eyes playfully as I continue to stare at him. I watched him as he munches on the steak, how his cheeks got round whenever he does.

"I'm going to pretend that you're not looking." He says as he sips in his pumpkin juice. I snicker, taking a strawberry and biting it joyfully.

"I bet you my life you don't even taste as good as this strawberry, Draco Malfoy." I said, smirking. He gives me a knowing look, a smile playing on his lips.

"We both know that strawberry isn't even half the snack I am." He says and I laugh at his silliness.

"Oh Draco, you think you're just the best aren't you?" My mood now feels a hundred times better. From wanting to bury myself six feet under because of Blaise's boring to death story to wanting to live my life more because ot Draco's blessed existence.
