WILL
We wait outside the forest, waiting for Clarisse's team to settle in. Nico hurries up to me before we go off.
'Is your armour on properly?' He asks, checking me over.
'It's fine, Nico.' I say, 'Leo checked it over...actually maybe you should double check.'
'That's what I thought.' He says, 'Okay, you're all good. Don't be stupid, okay. Let Leo do the...the crazy stuff. You just stop him dying.'
'If you're so worried about me getting hurt, you shouldn't have put me on offence.' I say.
'Leo needs our best medic with him.' Nico says shrugging, 'I don't make the decision.'
'Yes you do.' I say.
'Yeah I do.' He agrees.
'Come on, it's not too late. Kayla's with you right? Just switch us round. Kayla's so chatty, and you hate that. This is a win-win switch, Nico.' I try to persuade him.
'I actually haven't had a catch up with Kayla in a long time. Can't wait to gossip.' He says, as Chiron blows the whistle. Leo hurries over as Nico kisses me quickly, 'be safe.' He says before shouting to Kayla, grabbing her arm and shadow travelling into the forest.
